Hey cool. It seemed to be at least informative about the early game, if not very detailed. The desertion of lutienant whats-his-name seems to suggest that when The infantry arrived at the white base, they died because they werent micromanaged.
One thing though. I think it very unlikly that any soldier in the Koprulu sector would be so unfamilar with the zerg. But maybe he was an earth boy come with the UED invasion? |

Nah...the idea is that he was a green dude who'd heard about the zerg, but never had to fight them until that day. You know us terrans...always churning out the babies as lurker-fodder...

Sorry about my report stealing comments Ice...
i found this to be very entertaining. =) If you want a little advice (friendly) I'd suggest a little more detail about the game (maybe a few more of the battles and more info about the end) and i was actually kinda bummed that the guy was gonna get executed, but that just cuz i identified with the character. =) All in all a VERY fun read and I enjoyed it immensely. Keep up the good work!

Beautiful description. I especially loved the description of the creep--it's not something we normally think of as an active organism, except for Zerg players getting irritated because it doesn't grow fast enough, and non-Zerg players getting irritated because it doesn't go away fast enough. Like ::nobody::, I wish it had been longer, but no other real complaints.
Wish there had been some ultralisks in that game. I'd love to hear a Terran grunt's description of THOSE... |

A little short, but a good story and written well...
I have to say though, it was too short to draw my attention as a work of fiction, and there weren't enough details to make it a good "battle report".
I really couldn't identify with the character because there wasn't enough background information at the beginning and just not enough juice in the climax. The terror of walking to the zerg base knowing that at any moment, the spines of a lurker could rip into you or a hord of mutalisks could start raining acid down on you, etc. etc...
Like I said at the beginning though, its a good idea, it had good writing, and I think it has great potential to become a really good story.
