I'll work on paragraphs next time, I probably should have made more space inbetween each paragraph. You can't really complain about having too many BGH reports becuase everyone plays BGH on b.net, so naturally there will be a lot of reports. I am sick of the map too tho. Screenshots might have helped too. It was a little dry, maybe I should write in the 3rd person and have more opinion. Though I dislike battle reports that are all fluff and no content. And how do I color my player names? Shoudl I be using HTML for formatting?

Quartex don't be discouraged. Almost everybody bombs their first report, I got a 5 back in September =(. At first I was way too mad about it, but later I realized that there's gotta be a reason for every bad rating, and you gotta find out exactly what the complaints are, improve on them and aim for at least a 7 on the next one. My second report ( probably in october, this was all under the name Dagomar ) got a 7.5 somehow, so I was happy.
I haven't really read it yet, but a few pointers:
First of all, in text reports it's good to have paragraphs, and titles to them. Check out some of praetor's reports or some of my own text stuff to see how this is done.
Second, don't play on BGH. Ladder maps are always a good bet . . . if you aren't too great of a player yourself, ask someone who is relatively well known and/or good if you can observe.
Third, get screenshots by typing "Print Scrn" and convert them to Jpeg by downloading a program called Imageoweb at download.com. Upload these images onto the net ( I do it via my geocities file manager ) and link them to your report.
Fourth, get name colors by typing (font color=yellow) yadayadayada (/font color=yellow) around the colored word. The brackets in the above code would be < and >'s in the actual tag. You can change text size by typing (h1) for very large, (h3) for large and (h6) for small, again the brakctes are <'s and >'s.
Fifth, find something that you can add in every one of your reports that is truly original, or at least always characteristic of your reports. IE <u> This has been a |]agomar production </u>
Sixth, select View Source from your toolbar for a list of all the html used in the page you are viewing. Do this for an html heavy report, and you'll find all the codes used, which can really help you learn
Seventh, browse the search engines for help with html. Geocities recommends a really good site for help in its File Manager, check it out once you've gotten and account!
