| I went back to Vanillia SC last night and got a horrible partner. He made around 25 bunkers and was filling them with 2 raxs (That were idle most of the time). Mean while...The bunkers were at his choke...and massivly infront of his choke, while his main was wide open. He never attacked once. I love people that feel they can win through defence (And this was'nt even a semi-good defence). They dropped on his main....and he says to me, "Whoa....sneaky bastards." Not really my fine newb...that was the logical thing to do. After that game...I return to Brood wars. |

I once had an enemy that always said something like "Symbol is almost finished". When I attack he says "Symbol is now finished", and I find his base with only Pylons that are built so that they form some strange star-symbol :)
(this was a ladder game!)
Why do you get such bad bengalaas for ur reports? - I mean this one was not too great but it was quite funny, and besides this, nobody gets rates below 4.0 normally :(

Uhm.. I’m the one that rated this report a “1”. I call it a report and not a “battle” report because there simply is no battle in this report. This is nothing more than a post about what a newbie did with some starting locations thrown in.

This is the only line in the entire post that even mentions some sort of battle, and it has no details. Skull could have been killed by an army of drones for all we know.
Maybe it is just me, but I sort of like to read about actual battles when I read a battle report. I guess I should have just left it not rated.

| ok ok ok, good points, he should've been more a LOT detailed. But I know that lots of people (myself included) like reading newbie reports. Maybe there should be a Newbie section, so others can steer clear of them. |
