I really liked that, the pictures kinda told the story. How many screenshots did you take??? The pics were nicely edited too, uber sharp and at full size. I don't think i've ever seen screenshots sharper than my in-game appearence. Again, very nice. How long did that game take?

| Thx for the positive feedback all! To answer some questions: I use Photoshop (HIGHLY recommended), I spent ... i dunno... 4 hours maybe?, the game lasted 41:19, and i took 111 screen shots. The rematch will be done soon... glad u guys enjoyed ^^. |

Photoshop, but doesn't that cost like 650 dollars? Print Shop Pro is around 100 but my parents wouldn't pay that much just for battlereporting purposes.
I'm just using the shareware version of paint shop pro 4.1 now. Once I go through all the shareware versions(5, 6, 7), then I won't know wut to do....sigh. |

About minimap. If you want to do it on one part of the game. . .do the mini map at slower speed, or shove minimap to the end, so everyone can have "clearer" picture of what is going on. . . |

The stylesheets can be annoying, but thats what JV's here for I guess.
Something else that might have helped was running it through a spell checker once. I found a few mistakes, although nothing too serious.
Otherwise, here's some things that I liked.
1) The pics are sharp, which makes them have more of an effect on the report.
2) The game was on Vanilla Starcraft, which made it more interesting then just lurkers vs m+m.
3) When i took your text and put in in a text editor, I was still able to follow along with the game. (without pictures)
4) Both are good players.
Overall excellent report. Before I read your report, I accidently clicked on the one below it and almost left br.com for the night. I'm glad I got to read your report, because it was worth reading and the time it took to load.
This is a great start to battlereporting, and I hope that you continue. You definately have the skill needed.

Wowsers, great first report! Very close close game, and you made your pictures look really nice.
I have a few things that kind of bug me though. First, it seemed like you had the curser in every shot. Its a very small thing, but its also very easy to move your cursor to the bottom portion of the screen so that it doesn't show up. Second, don't center your text. It just looks weird, and most people don't like it. Aligning your text to the left also makes it easier to wrap pictures around your text. Third, your animated gif moved a little to quickly for my tastes. It would have been nice if it had gone at half the speed, so that I could absorb what happened a little better.
Ok, those were all very minor points. This is still an excellent report, and that's why I took the time to point them out to you :)

I liked it because it was vanilla, while I only play BW. I was wondering what people do in vanilla hehe.. And it was a nice change of pace.
Pics were clear, writing was concise and most importantly the game was of high quality.

Hey. Nice report... I'd give it an 8.9 =).
I have cable and it took about 2 seconds to load, but I still found it hard to read with all of the pictures -- it would have been easier if you made more spacing and wrote a little more. The image effects were awesome though =).
Seeing that you'll reduce the images or make them fit better in the next report, I think you're on the road to a 10. |

when you saw the cancelled cc at the expansion, you stated : " I can only see a few reasons for this"
the obvious reason is that he saw the zerg drop coming, and cancelled the cc to retain most of the minerals before losing the cc. |
