Snork, I honestly hope that you're not as concerned about popularity in real life as you seem to be with your online personna. Just be yourself. It makes me shudder to think that you put so much stock in other people's opinions of yourself. You seem to be truly distraught so I'm not going to flame you outright. I will just say that you have to keep in mind that your contributions to the community were minimal at best.
Admittedly, this site is not made up of just reporters, but also of the people who read the BRs. It's nice to have people around who will read and comment on all the battlereports, even if they aren't writing any of their own. However when those same people start begging for respect, trying to be cool, spamming the forum, and showing a distinct inablility to ignore the flamers that live in every online community, then I believe it is in their own best interests to leave.
That being said, I think you're making the right choice.

I too did not know this Snork person on a personal note, but I did see what everyone else is reffering to in his persona while he was around. He wasn't exactly too bright with his comments on and around this site.
And then comes all the detractors on this site that bite into people again and again. Sure some people may deserve it. And then again, if people would have simple ignored him instead of flaming, then that could have sufficed as well. But that isn't how nature works here. Thankyou to those who didn't flame me in here, I probably would have liked a lot of you guys, i read all of these comments (FU quadmaniac, ppl here hate you more than they hate me, or did hate me until now).
Now, i never ever flamed to "be cool", I flamed bcz i couldnt stand sitting out and taking everything in my stride, a lot of stuff pissed me off and in the last month or so i havent been holding back.

POA, i really really liked you, we had a heap of games and fun (microwarz with my civ called backdoor bob, no relation to the newt bob however) I changed, not many others did though, it was me.
I changed bcz of everything that is going on in my RL, on the internet it's easy to forget about RL and the RL's others have. When i sat down at my computer it was like being in another world, almost all of my cares went away. That didnt last forever and with everything going on in the real world i began to crack and get very edgey with anyone would said the slightest thing i didnt like. there were times when i felt i could break someones face for looking at me wrong. Exam pressure is building and im relying on these to pass some of my subjects this year. it's sad to end on a note like this, i would have liked to have left on a good note, but this is how it goes.
Sorry if that is all over the place, im not even gonna bother checking the forums for more flames and maybe the odd "goodbye, i didnt really know you, but i did like you" message.
I never really hated many people here, perhaps the odd one here and there, usually for good reason too. then it all changed and ppl began to hate me, probably my fault though, enough rambling from me.
