I dont know Hawk, and so I really cant comment on the 'cruelty' of this Br. If Hawk really is a prick, then it was funny, and from what I read of his comments on the game (on one of those screenshots) he seems to be. But it was kinda bad as a Br. The game itself was kinda forgotten, and you seemed to put the lot of your enegy on just humiliating Hawk.
So, in conclusion, the 'Hawk sux dix' part was indeed funny, but the Br part was not. |

I'm generally in favor of the deflation of loudmouths and braggarts. I'm not familiar with Hawk or his posts, so I can't really judge whether or not the ridicule of him is justified. So I read the report assuming it was, and under those circumstances it's very funny. I think, though, that when ridiculing somebody, it's generally better not to get too worked-up in putting them down. A few wry comments is much better than shrieking about how gay they are, because you don't end up looking immature yourself.

I've only met Hawk once. Frankly, I'm surprised that anyone at all defends him against things like this. If behaves the way he did then all the time (judging from what other people think of him, that seems to be the case) then I think Fessor's opening paragraph basically sums up the whole deal. I cannot stand arrogance at all, especially in terms of a computer game. When that arrogance is also immature and unsubstantiated, I fail to see how anyone supports it.
