Maybe its just me but i thought this was about a 7 even though it lacked screen shots and not a whole lot of html.
I could perfectly follow this. What makes a report is the making the writing clear enough where the reader can see the game in there mind as clear as they would a replay.

First thing to remeber when writing text only would be really good writing. Some of it wasn't bad, but I feel like I've just read a newspaper with annoying paranthesis remarks thrown in at random. Try to stay away from the "he did this then he did that and etc."
You at the end that the game was one of the most exciting games you've ever played. Really? I felt like it was a bog standard PvZ.
Try to convey the action better, and be less informative. Also it was a bit on the short side.

You do realize that Zerg need Hydralisks, right? That would have made the Corsair assault completely hopeless.
Numbers (as a general rule) should be spelled out until 21.
As TM said, don't bold names so often. It seems quite... well, forced. Same with the pronouns.
As ZerG~LinG said, avoid, "I did this, and he did that, then I did this, and he did..." It slows down the pace of the story, and that kills reports.
Other than that... it was a fairly good report, and I look forward to seeing more of your work. |

reminds me of the days when you could post a well written all text report and have people enjoy it, w/o the background/pic/flash mania. As stated some grammer errors but nothing too bad.

Even without pics, this was a well constructed reports. I usually dont expect sentences that flow from a text only, but I was got off guard by how much I enjoyed reading it.
Good work Demon, congrats on venturing into the world of text only and doing well with it...unless you dont know how to post pics of course.
