Only a fan of westwood RTS would say that Fog of War is a stupid concept. Fog of War adds a dimension to the gameplay - like unique races, and heros, and creeps, and so on...
Emperor: Dune looks basically the same now as when it was Dune II, 15 years ago - just with markedly improved graphics.
That being said, there is always room for original reporting. And since this is the first one I've seen in a few days, I actually read it.
It's always cool to see reports about other games, but substance is better than enormous pics...though pics are essential to a certain degree.
I say make the game more interesting in your report and focus on action and gameplay. It doesn't seem as cool to other people when they can barely follow it.

Ok, Lowly. 1: 3 F'ING MEGS! WTF type of pic editor are you USING?!? If your using MS Paint make sure to save your pictures as JPEGS for crying out loud! That cuts 3megs down to just under half of one. =/
Writing was ok......If you were in Middle School. You need to explain. I have no f'ing clue what a Mino is. You must ALWAYS assume people know NOTHING about a game when you write up a BR for one.
Just explain what each units does as it comes on the scene. Like with your Air Drones you mentioned they were gonna go Carryall killing. Do stuff like that, it helps us understand better.
Also. Where the hell are the worms? I wanna see a freaking worm eat something.

Yes, you can kill worms. Surprisingly, they have infantry armor, which means machine guns and sniper shots are the best ways.
You can't load it? All the pics are in either JPG or GIF. What browser are you using? Th font may not load right in Netscape or it's clones. |

I remember in Dune that it would come up outa the ground and go "Raaaarrrwump" as it ate something. And only the trikes could out run it.
One time I saw this worm coming so I told my harvester to "go home" so I saw its carryall coming to pick it up and just as it does......"Raaaaarrrwump" the worm ate them both. I was like...........ASDF. Stupid worm. |
