There were a lot of pictures though. This is bad for two reasons. Firstly I could see the data coming through the telephone wire - it made a big buldge like a snake eating. I'm blessed with 56k goodness. Secondly there wasn't enough writing compared to the pics.

Excellent first report. Here are some things you could work on:
1.) Color scheme. Dark green on black is a no-no. White on black may seem tired and boring, but at least it's legible.
2.) Layout. You had a ton of wasted space and the pictures looked cluttered. I'd recommend liberal use of < br clear="all"> tags, and a more flowing layout. Play around, E-Mail the "beta" to people, refine it. You'll do good.
3.) Pictures, were fine, up to the layout part. Also, the blank white border you have sort of hurt my eyes. Try a different color.
Other than that, good report! I slap a 7.5 on this and give you a handshake. |

Although I'm not a veteran BR'er, I did like the green on black scheme. For me anyway, it worked. White on black isn't really so much old and tiresome as it is stressful; too drastic a clash. Now I understand that sometimes it's acceptable, and I can tolerate that, but this looked nice. The whole green-on-black thing made me think of a zerg that got splattered on the ground, all except for the fact that zerg have red blood, which is something I've never figured out... Why would an alien have red blood? Ahh well...
