The Fall of Rome while I'm watching Gladiator, eh? Gotta love it. ^^

Gladiator is a good movie. I was watching it before but had to go.

I see that it's on again though. Very happy I am.

Your descriptions of what happened tactically were much better in this report than the other one, but the game seemed lacking. _PLA_Jun sounded to be pretty well at a disadvantage from the beginning to the end.

While Jun held off attack after attack, he seemed always at a disadvantage and never able to make an offensive attack other than to retake Neapolis which they lost in the beginning. If Jun was doing better than that it wasn't expressed well in the writing.

As I said earlier your tactical descriptions were an improvement over your last report. More advanced tactics were interesting to read about than the basic frontal attack.

I felt that the game needed more commentary about what was going on. Especially since the game seemed to be going so poorly for Jun. What could he have done to improve his situation? His expansionist plan obviously was too much, when should he have stopped to build troops? Etc.

Economic and non-combat research benefits would also be interesting to read about and how they affect the game.

This felt between a 6-7 to me. The writing was an improvement over the last report so I'll give it a 7.

A good report on Rise of Nations. I'd like to see more, as I believe this is a very good game. 8 points.

Warrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! 9th!
Anyway nice report, you just need more writing and descriptions. It was very picture heavy and I didn't read it. And everyone watch out for my upcoming battlereport for Warhammer 40000, Dawn of War. My old BR name is Der Fuhrer, dont ask any questions. Everyone look me up!

Cookiecutter, I'd love to play RoN with you as I have just begun playing it and its challenge to go from the micro fest that is wc3 to RoN. Your report I thought was pretty good, I'm not a good rater or anything, but I'd love to see more pics of the action!

You gave away the ending in the introduction. That kills suspense throught the report, and giving people less incentive to read it.

I just hate this game and delay it until I can start a nuclear war and everyone loses, because it's funny.

Once again not a bad read, and once again the same problems as in the first report. I wanted to see better screenshots and more detailed explanation of both battles and empire-building involved.

Also this time, the game was not that good, which was obvious throughout the report and in the final score.

7

Much better report than the first, but, since I don't know the game, I could do with some more explanations about the game mechanics. Great writing and humor though.
