I liked the picture that had the gateway at 9hp. It was the wireframe over the real gateway. I thought that was an interesting way to show how much HP was left. =p

| I saw the wireframe thing being used before in another report, but it was used to show what buildings were warping in instead of hp. The wireframe got too distorted when I scaled it imo, if I use it again I might have to sharpen it or use edge detect. |

Anyways, nice report! I was a bit confused at times, especially with keeping track of how the early game went. Maar got some cannons before he had a forge, apparently(?)
The humor was irrelevant and repetitive to the point of hilarity. Bonus points for that. The game was good, even if maar won.

Hmmm...didn't like the humor that much. I chuckled at the red army line I think. That's about it.
Game seemed pretty good (anything with filers is good in my book ;]), writing was good, and you didn't skimp or anything. But...the premise didn't engage me that much. It felt, all in all, kind of dry at the end of it all. I guess it was riding on the humor, and it didn't get much outta me. The volume of writing got a bit confusing sometimes, but the pics helped clarify. Good usage there.
Gonna go with a 7.5-8 on this one. |

Great report--I chuckled all the way through. The whole lovers theme as well as red vs white army was a nice touch. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
On the downside, there wasn't quite as much of a flow to the action as I would have liked--meaning it was a bit difficult for me to follow what happened where, and how it got there through the evolution of the game. And of course it's red :(
All in all a great report.
