First. We still do that, right?

Nice report, held my interest with a game I haven't played, which says something. Holler.

Thanks! Glad to see there's someone still around to read these.

I always liked this game.

Good couple of Reports. Not too fancy but a good read. I hope your planning to write more.

Nice reports KingWombat. I have Age of Mythology but only my son has played it as of yet, looks like I should give it a shot sometime.

Wow, this site really has gotten a lot quieter. :P

Think Warcraft, except in space. And not crappy. ;)~

...And some of us are, sadly, busy not playing Starcraft.

Lol, that was my sad attempt at sarcasm. In truth, I actually HAVE heard of Starcraft, mainly from visiting this site one too many times... :D

Well. what can I say?

All that I said to the previous:
+ well written
+ good explanations
+ nice pictures
+ had a lot fun reading

- more minimaps

And additionally:
+ I really liked the black and white pictures!

- blue links and playernames on blue background iritate me

Altogether this one is a bit better than the other I think, but still not a 9, rather a 8.9!

Maybe I should buy AoM...

Another nice report. A few issues, though:

1. I like the background, but the blue links and player name was unfortunate. Choose a different background or use a different color for the links and player name (just tell us when you first mention them that you're purposely using the wrong color so it shows up better, to save yourself stupid comments [or don't, if you're ok with whatever comments you can get ;)]) so it's easier to pick out and not so straining to the eyes.

2. I was sort of disappointed when you simply glossed over the battle to defend red's central expansion. It's the most epic battle so far in the game - everything has been building up to this and the outcome of this battle will be incredibly important - but you just say "red lost," which is really unfulfilling. Give us a little more there. Would have the added effect of upping the tension and making the final result even more surprising.

3 I didn't really feel more minimaps would be necessary, but then I'm not much into minimap updates. A lot of people are, though, and I don't see how they could ever hurt. Well, unless you did one every paragraph, but you're not going to do that.

Very cool turnaround at the end. Always love to see someone claw their way to a victory after falling impossibly behind. Interesting power, to say the least.

This game sounds fascinating, and I'd love to see some more reports done on it, either by you or possibly by others as well, if people writing reports hasn't become impossible. I can't say your reports make me want to play the game, though, as they really only make me remember Starcraft ... which is not a bad thing at all.

Giving the report an eight.

Thanks for the feedback Feanor - I used some of it in the third report... and maareek, it really wasn't much of an 'epic battle'... more of a massacre.
