Drefsab vs. GaNN

Dref goes with a standard depot on 8 and rax on 12. After the barracks is complete Dref contructs a factory and soon after a second barracks. It looks as if he is going for a fast marine/tank drop to take the game.
 
 

Meanwhile back at GaNN's base, he morphs a extractor on his ninth drone while sending his first overlord scouting towards the bottom right position. Soon after a second overlord is done morphing and is immediately sent directly towards Dref's base.

GaNN builds a second hatchery around 14 and immediately after morhps a spawning pool.

Back at Dref's base, he has just started building an academy and approximately has 6 marines. Dref has also built a starport for the precious drop ships he will need to attack with. Right now Dref is about 1/3 done researching seige mode.

While Drefsab has been building up, Gann has not been idle. About the time Dref starts his academy, Gann's lair is almost done.

GaNN begins morphing a spire, an evolution chamber, and two creep colonies around his mineral line. Soon after, the colonies were converted to spores.

Dref uses his freshly attached comsat to scan one of the vacant corners. Not discouraged, he sends an empty dropship for scouting purposes and finds his enemy.

Drefsab immediately sends the dropship back to pick up marines and with a newly constructed second dropship loads up two tanks. Next he travels to the cliff behind the Gann's mineral line.

During this time Dref has thrown up another barracks and starts producing mass marines while continually making dropships. Gann hasn't changed his production course and continues making more mutalisks.

Gann retaliates by trying to cause some damage to Dref's main but doesn't do much. He kills a couple missle turrets and few SCVs before forced to run away by a pack of marines.

To prevent suprise drops on his cliff, Gann uses a few spare zerglings to patrol around the area.

While Dref is constructing a Science Facility to later build the powerful science vessels, he loads up two dropships full of infantry for a second attempt on attacking his enemy

With Gann knowing how much Dref has lost, he takes his time to expand three times. Also, as seen in the minimap below, Dref tries to expands once knowing that if he doesn't soon all hopes would be lost. 

Gann has tabs on all the expansions and already has seen the floating command center trying to expand. The expansion is quickly dispatched by mutas on call. Dref's base is surround with scourge and a group of mutas stands nearby for support.

Dref not realizing the extent of his containment tries to escape again with no distractions. Because of his carelessness he loses one more precious dropship, the other one barely escaping. When all this is happenning Gann has finsihed morphing his greater spire. 

He commences the attack asap and stims his marines. He starts by hitting the spawning pool but for some reason stops and moves on. 

Dref is forced to fight newly hatched zerglings. The zerglings are used in conjunction with mutas flying in from the map. With these two sides, Gann is able to elminate the marine threat.

Dref takes advantage of the last attack and the fact that it weakened Gann and tries to start up an expansion. As you can see, Dref only has one active mineral patch on the whole map.

Dref's attempt is foiled as Gann finds the expansion with a wandering pack of mutas. But is the expansion a honest attempt or a distraction?
 
 

With irradiate on his side and dropships full of units, Dref makes a last ditch effort to hurt Gann. Two ships full of units unload, stim, and suicide onto the greater spire. 

Thats about all he is able to kill though, as 12 newly hatched guardians kill the marines with no problems.

With no more units to counter the insane number of guardians, Drefsab surrenders the game to Gann. Gann is victorious.
