Looks Kinda Funkay.
In the Age of Chaos, two factions battled for dominance.

The Kingdom of Azeroth was a prosperous one. The humans who dwelt there turned the land into a paradise. The Knights of Stormwind and the Clerics of Northshire Abby roamed far and wide serving the King's people with honor and justice. The well trained army's of the King maintained a lasting peace for many generations.

Then came...The Orcish Hordes....

No one knew where these creatures came from and none were prepared for the terror that they spawned. Their warriors welded axe and spear with deadly proficiency and some rode dark wolves as black as the moonless night. Unimagined were the destructive powers of their evil magics, derived from the fires of the underworld.

With an ingenious arsenal of weapons and powerful magic, these two forces collide in a contest of cunning, intellect, and brute strength with the victor claming dominance over the other.

Welcome to the World of Warcraft.

Dont Ask! Dont Tell!

*A few things before I start. When I think stuff I'll go *I'm thinking!* Alright? I'll do it this way from now on! So you guys can stop being confused now.*

Bet you guys weren't prepared to see this huh? When I first played this back in 1994 I thought it was the best game there was! *Besides the C&C Series.* I sold this game a long time ago for 5 bucks at some cheesy store. My older brother went and bought it back from the same cheesy store. So I gave this game another try and... Its alright....

So I logged onto the local area network and joined Clan ~Nohunters and proceded to lay the smackdown on XD'S~Grrr.... No not really. This game was actually played between my brother and me. So without ado! Here's Warcraft at its finest!

I had selected the Noble Humans for this round while my brother, who shall now be called Orc, selected Orcs. *Bet you didn't see that coming.*

The map we played on is called Forest 5. Basically you're placed on either side of a river with a gold mine near your main and one quite a ways away. The only way to cross the river is from a bridge near the top of the map, and a bridge near the bottom. I started on the West Side while my opponent started on the East.

We each started off with 5 peasants//peons and went about our business. I decided to power peons until I had a good cash and wood flow. Seems like Orc was thinking the same thing, for he did exactly what I did, which was build a farm right off the bat. Now I have to gripe about my start point, my peasants have to stay in a single file line in order to reach my town hall in the quickest route possible, this created problems as my peasants always got in the way of the ones coming from the mine or the ones heading to the mine and constantly got stuck. Unlike in Warcraft 3 where they would just pass though each other.

More Work? Sigh. More Work...

Was Orc having the same horrible AI I was having? Nay, his Peons would enter the mine from the side and leave it from the top, thus creating a congo line on either side of the mine, making a stable cash flow for Orc. *I know this because I cheated and looked over at his screen.* One thing I must add, you can only build on or next to cobblestone, which the town hall can create, and it also makes your units move slightly faster, so it's a benefit to create a road between your mine and your hall.

Daboo... DABOO!

Now you guys have to keep in mind this is a VERY slow paced game, the focus here is micro since each unit costs a horrible amount of gold. *Wait a tick. This sounds somewhat like Warcraft 3.... Hmm. Nah.* Now another thing to keep in mind about Warcraft is that the units on each side are EXACTLY THE SAME. This would be the perfect game for Zileas if he ever decided to pick it up sometime in the late past.

Ok, I fibbed a bit. The magics are different and that's about it. Human's have "Clerics" and "Wizards." Clerics can cast Healing, Invisibility, and Vision. Wizards can cast Rain of Fire, Scorpions, and Water Elemental's.

Orc's have "Warlocks" and "Necromancers." Necromancers can cast Unholy Armor, Vision, and Skeletons. Warlocks can cast Poison Cloud, Spiders, and Daemons.

But come on, each magic costs the same and each of the summoned units do the same damage, the Orc's have it better because they can raise dead guys to life. I mean come on, how cool is that?

Anyway, enough of that, I'm neglecting the game. My town was growing well. I had my farms there, a barracks started here. Yes, my quest for dominance was starting off well and it continued to go well for the next 6min. of the game as I continued to mass a few more peasants and I also started a lumber mill during this time as well. (Which enables archers, and the making of advanced buildings.)

Once I had a force of 2 footmen I sent one north and one south to explore. After scouting my northern half of the map I sent my footman across the nearby bridge and after traveling a little ways he came under attack by an Orcish Grunt! Even though I struck first it didn't seem to affect the Grunt who quickly kicked the crap out of my footman. I clicked on the Grunt and noticed he was hardly damaged at all. He must of had his armor upgraded at least once already. (You can only upgrade weapons and armor twice in this game)

During the battle I created another barracks but I feared he might be massing low-tech units so I decided to get Clerics and bring their holy aid to the field of battle. I started a Church imminently after the battle. Soon healing was researched and I had clerics among my troops where their presence was greatly appreciated. To hold back any Orcish threat I placed 3 footmen, 2 archers, and a cleric across the Northern Bridge in a hold position. If any Orc's came that way they were up for a tough fight.

The best candy is Peaches & Cream Candy. Hmmmmm. I like it in the mornin when I'm wakin up.

Soon I had another half army assembled and I sent them South to meet up with my lone footman guarding the bridge in that area. I decided to delve into my Enemy's Empire some and sent a force of 2 footmen and 2 archers across to scout, they ran into a couple of Grunts, nothing they couldn't handle.

As they continued on they met stiff resistance in the form of 3 Grunts, 1 Wolf Rider, a Warlock, and a Daemon. Needless to say my troops were slaughtered without killing one unit. Noticing how fast my troops died I concluded that he must have his weapons and armor upgraded all the way, with me only having upgraded my weapons and armor once. *I quickly glace at my brothers screen again to see what his base looks like. I couldnt fit it all so 'eh.

Jaood: Sorry. We're from Amsterdam, we didn't know light beer was supposed to suck. Amstale light, the beer drinkers light beer.

The Orc's, seeing victory decided to send the lone Daemon to finish me off and to scout things out. I sent 4 footmen from my main down to meet him. He slew them all in seconds. But the footmen manged take 1/4 of the Daemon's health bar. It continued on it's march towards my town hall, and began attacking my hapless peasants. I lost a few peasants before I sent 2 clerics in to try to show the creature that JESUS loved him, thinking that maybe the he had been raised wrong as a child and just had a lot of anger boiled up inside him. *Probably because Mark4 spanked him as a child.* Those clerics died horrible deaths. Guess their Catholic Tactics didn't work. I had to finish the Daemon off with a force of archers.

''I'm like Milk. I'll do your body good.'' I dont really understand that joke. =(

Now I was mad, Orc was probably laughing at the destruction he had caused with his Daemon. I was determined to prove him wrong while making him suffer at the same time. Since I had now finally seen his tech I was going to mass low-tech units to counter his costly high-tech ones.

With a force of 4 footmen, 6 archers, and 2 clerics I moved them out to do battle on the Northern Bridge. Where I had spotted his forces massing, but as I moved out, 4 Wolf Riders from the South Bridge darted up and started causing havoc inside my base. I quickly put down the threat with my previous mentioned force.

It was time to end this game, I moved across the bridge and engaged his forces. It consisted of 8 Wolf Riders and 2 Daemons. Despite my clerics healing as fast as I could click, the footmen I had acting as a meat shield quickly fell, leaving my archers exposed and catching my clerics with their pants down. *Get it? Get it? Ah, you don't get it.*

Are you guys ready for the last pic? Its just as good as the one I left in my last BR. Grade A. I promise.

I had constructed a Stable during the battle so both my barracks were pumping out horsemen now, but it was too late, the Horde was over-running my town and raping my peasants. I was forced to concede the game to Orc.

Uthar: "And that my lad is how we lost the first war and had to flee like sissy little girls across the sea to our faggy elf friends in the forests."

Timmy: "Your stories suck hairy balls grandpa."

Uthar: "asdf..."
