This AQD3 guy looks like a pro... damn... almost makes me want to come out of retirement to try to implement what I learned.
If you look at the stats though, it looks like everyone esle in the game was a newbie... hmm...
Again, I offer this advice, watch out for when the enemy comes in and destroys all your bases. If that happens, you're in trouble, remember that.
Nice pics... you should have used that border on all of them, I thought it looked cool and wasn't a ripoff on my style. |

I have to differ with you on this one YRM. Once again this guy went with a horde of goons. I'd say his partner was the real strength of the team. He was the one who broke the red defenses with his tank push, and he was such a team player he neglected his own defense to push the attack home even when he got reaver dropped. Now that's a real player, someone who can push home an attack even as he gets raped at home.
I did like the mass hallucination thing though. It shows a bit of class. |

ahem Well then.... I can safely say that mass hallucinations are never a good thing and NO I wont elaborate. I did however like the flaming engineering bay at the choke offensive technique. when I am playing most of my buildings are flaming and it hasnt worked for me that well so far I am glad it has for you : ) as far as the rest goes what mark4 said about his partner being the strength of the team I say well duh ..he was terran. terran can ahniliate any race and especially Toss because toss smell funny...the only exception would be when I am in command because I have one technique and thats cower in the corner like a crying girl
: ) toodles |

err, just using a bit of logic... if the terran player was doing all the work, wouldn't he have double the score of everyone else? Not the Toss player?
Yeah, either a really good player was playing, or everyone else was newbies

Hehe, its funny to try to use those cheat codes in multiplayer. not sure how much it does psychologically for ya, but it sure as hell is fun to see the flames fly afterward.
and anyhoo, 100,000 is a pretty good score for a game running about 1/2 an hour. it might be a bit skewed from 1 on 1 scores for that time frame just because if he's playing newbies he now has 2x the victims to massacre, but even if 100,000 is nothing to scoff at. |

Yeah Mark4... the final score is telling. Besides... you said the Terran SCANNED and found reavers! Wouldn't he have had enough sense to shore up a bit at home with a few tanks and marines and towers? That is, unless he was terrible.
If he did lose all his probes halfway in, that would help to explain the score, but it doesn't explain the pure idiocy of having tanks, seeing reavers, then NOT having tanks on defense... sorry to flame like this, but even I know better than that.
AQD3, are you there? Please reply to, um... ANY of your responses... sheesh. This guy = opposite of comment whore |

| I LOVE mass hallucinations. Hallucination is way under-used anyway. I've done good work with two hallucinated archons shielding my troops from damage. Good for drawing tank, and especailly bunker fire. |

| Ya! Another good BR writer. I mean how is it possible to make public bashing into a good report? I dunno this report has done it. |

I admit it, the terran could have had a little better drop defense. Too bad the BR didn't get into the terran action too much. This guy is a little self centered.
Maybe I was just trying to provoke a comment like YRM =].
Still, the terran was laying down a good attack. From the screenshot it looks like the terran was all over that push. Losing a lot of stuff at home is probably why the scores look skewed. |

I have provided a new title, some cool wallpaper, and buttons to Shockwave for his new forum.
I suggest that when JV gets back, he and Shock linke back and forth... thereby making Shock's Nohunters, or alternatively, Friends and Foes, the partner forum for the site. There are already a crapload of forums, what's the point in drawing away from some goodones that are already out there? |

Not to take anything away from the writer of this BR, but everyone here does know how you can "doctor" scores, right? Just don't leave the game afterwords and wait around for an additional 15 minutes (just mining, and maybe even destroying your allies buildings, etc.) and your score will skyrocket easily.
The game did seem like a 30 minute game, IMO, so the scores probably weren't changed up or anything, but whatever=] Just thought I'd throw that in to the discussion....

Mark4 i totally disagree with you. Being a good player doesnt mean accomplishing heroic acts like sacrifying his base. If you erase my comment (which wouldnt surprise me much), i ll get really angry. It requires a sharp intellect to win an argument, mark4, but any average rating lamer will just erase the comments. Already im surprised you didnt erase YRM's comment.
Also, I dont find it sympathetic of you to use such a strong word as "self centered" to describe the author. Get a good Oxbridge synonyme dictionnary and look up for euphemisms. It will already make you nicer. |

| At least you didn't post every single banner slogan you could remember. Of course that's what you save for spamming me with on battle net. Your one of the main reasons I've stopped playing. Thanks for making what was once an enjoyable experience suck. |

I have been given access to "admin" duties on the site... but damned if I know that there is a way to delete comments.
If Mark4 deleted comments, I don't think that Phuckin Rhetard's would all still be up. So Kak, don't equate Mark4 with some made up accusation...
...on the other hand, Mark4 you were a bit of a shithead towards the author of the report. Kakaru is right about that... you of all people should be encouraging people like this to write. Sure he can't write reports as good as you can, but that's no reason to flame a pretty good writer.
I flamed the other guy, who obviously didn't write the report... Anyway AQD3, if you are out there, GOOD JOB, don't let Mark4 discourage you... and click the banner adds. |
| #17 Mark4 (1Cust163.tnt28.tco2.da.uu.net)[11030] |

| I'd say he can write reports as good as I can... I'm out of practice now anyway. And that drop picture is beyond my abilities. I like the writing style, I just think all the games he has reported have been easy so far. I suggest he moves on to harder games, maybe reports a loss or two. I don't mean to discourage anyone from writing battle reports. |

Another nice little report....seems to me that this guy knows his stuff.
And 3 templar can kill 48 hydras. That was a fun game

I'm wondering if AQD3 somehow missed the Comments at the bottom.~ You'd think he'd have looked at the comments and thanked YRM or something otherwise...
The BR, at any rate (not 'rating';-), was good and I find nothing wrong with using goons. As all know, they're very nice when you're not fighting little stuff. But then, I'm no expert.=[ |
| #20 Slicer (ip109.portland11.or.pub-ip.psi.net)[11317] |

3 templar can kill 48 hydras, provided either you have superhuman speed/reflexes or you're playing on Normal/Fast speed, and your opponent must be enough of a newbie to clump them tightly and not move them out of the way.
Also remember that two of the temps can become an archon. "Out of storm? Is that a problem?" |
| #21 SuperGeneral (cr732571-a.pr1.on.wave.home.com)[11423] |
|
| errr... 4 templar CAN kill 100+ hydras, and 25 overlords, as long as you have a da with maelstorm and you are playing TRD |

Nice report AQD3. Your allowed to comment on your own reports too if you want. I won't yell at ya. =]
It's nice to see new writers, so far all your reports have been well worth my time to read.
And I have yet to create a handy tool to delete comments. I have to delete them manually as of right now. |
