This report is a bit better than your last one. Now all you have to do is find a battle worth reporting - one where the tide of battle swings from one side to the other and back again, leaving you (and your potential readers) wondering who's going to win up until the very end or one where one or both players utilize little known/unique strategies.
You might want to put in some pictures too. Just click on the "Print Screen/Sys Rq" button above your arrow keys and the pics will be saved in whatever folder you have the starcraft game saved in (default is "c:/Starcraft"). Use an image editor and submit it (or e-mail the pics to battlereports.com if your having trouble). You'll have to set up your own webspace to incorporate your pics into the report, though (br.com puts the pics at the end).
Try reading the rated 8.0-10.0 reports to get a feel for what kind of things you should look for in a battle to help you decide whether or not it's a good battle to report or just let slide into "The Void".
To the rest of you:
Negativity doesn't breed better reports. It just breeds more negativity.

That was much better, don't listen to the flamers. BR writers start off bad and learn as they go, not that i'm one but as I've seen here it's always been the case. The Pics are in *.Scx format and i believe you need to change them to *.jpeg to use them and be clear. If i'm wrong correct me.=] Neg comments stop people from trying to even write a first battle report so cut the shit=]

This IS alot better. Imo the story was good enough to report, and it was an easy read altogether. Grats on reaching the silver.
Imo, it did seem a little quickly told; a reader's digest of a BR. Perhaps get into more detail. Pictures can be used, if not in the actual report, to help you describe the scene more. True, putting them IN the report is helpful, but don't kill yourself doing them; poor pictures can take away from the story.
However, this is a personal ideal. I do love those long, funny ones :). To others, this is probably perfect. Grab your own style and if I don't like it, show off the masses who do and laugh (then run when I start sending my queens after you).
Oh, and perhaps 4 is a little harsh.. 5 seems to work here. |

Yeah, the report did seem a bit quick :) but the game itself kicked ass. It was pretty back and forth, and in the end it came down to upgraded having one too many tanks, or me having one too few templar :). If I could have just stopped the first wave I could have rallied my defences again hehe. Anyway, it was definately interesting, and hey, those first 2 zealots died because of scv intervention ;) they took out the marines, heh. Thinking about it I probably should have just saved the zealots and sent a 4 zeal/6-7 goon wave, he seemed pretty vournerable at that time and it might have been enough...

| Garett, rating it subjective. Similar, in fact, to debate judging... So be quiet and take it like a man (unless you aren't, in which case take it like a aarvark, or something). Then you can make an example out of me, because I'm pissed at how I get rated for various things;-) |
