| Hmm... I liked it. I think one of the hardest things to do is to play a good terran player as toss. The one game where me and Fractalwave against YRM and JV I thought about what I was going for in the long run and there were hard choices. Carriers would get locked down and beaten by claoked wriaths. So i ended up going random I nfantry. It did ok. but it was unable to go up the cliffs in LT. I pulled off a semi succesfull reaver drop and macroed but it wasn't enough. One of thge main problems was that frac got contained at the beginning and and at the middle and he was playing zerg his worse race. I think one of the reasons I did ok was that they were concentrating on frac. Untill, that is <font color="purple">YourRoleModel</font> gets his gay carriers. |

| Heh, I've been playing terran a bit more than usual lately (In non-FFA, where Terran is usually my choice)... it defintely requires more micro than the other races, but I'll be damned if their spells don't own ass. Probably the most irritating thing about the Terrans is having to build the supply depots. Zerg can just mass select larvae and spawn 12 overlords if needed, and a probe can set up a field of pylons in a matter of seconds. Terrans, on the other hand, have to build the depots much more "manually", 1 SCV per depot, pulling workers off of mineral lines and possibly getting in the way of each other ("something's in the way) if you try to build them too close to each other.... however, I discovered a semi-elegant solution. Once I hit about 4 or 5 depots, I pull an SCV off the mineral line, and for the rest of the game or until I reach max supply, he does nothing but build supply depots. Since then I've never had any problems with hitting my maximum supply until I reach 200/200 :-) |

Anyone can go off on all the games they won tvp, and sadly enough, some newbie idiots would start worshipping them as well, but it kinda starts spamming the front page when you write so many less than mediocre reports, and all you ever do is brag. |

| hey, ghost. First of all, terrans bite. Never say that terrans own. Its obvious this guy was a gay newbie, otherwise he wouldn't go carriers on you. In case you haven't noticed, just about no expert uses terran, except for B_Blade[leadR] or whatever the hell his name is. And guess what? He got trashed twice in a row by Xd'sgrrr..... when Xd's was toss! I could probably whoop you ass as toss, cause TOSS IS DOMINANT (well, zerg is allright too, but c'mon...what's with the purple ooze?!). |

For gods sake add some pics if your gonna do this! For all we know, you haven't played any games. You might have just made crap up. Give us some evideince! Give us some story plot and funny anticdotes! Give us high school level writting! Even if you lost in a game, if it was well played and you have pics, people will enjoy reading it far more than this dull all text crap where you pounce on some poor newbie. |

N1ghtshade, if you've been in nohunters recently you may have noticed Zileas. He plays with terran quite a lot, (though his toss is more common) and he's pretty damn good. Oh, and about some of the comments, everybody is entitled to their own opinion on a terran's chances in most games, but personally, I think that terran is not for interemediates. It's for beginners, and experts. When you're a beginner your opponents suck enough that imbalance questions rarely come into play. When you're an expert, you know HOW to counteract "imbalance". It's that intermediate stage where it gets sticky.
I should compile all my comments on strategy and sumbit it to some strategy site. Or maybe not. What do yall think? :-) |
