some comment on the strats. When Mark4 was doubled by marine and zealots early, he should have pulled back his zealots near his goons. This would force marine and zealots to come up the ramp and thus be choked. Mark4's goons and zealots could pick off offending zealots and marines two by two at a leisure until help arrived from ghost.
Now to defend against tank push up on your ramp. Yes templar or Corsair are a must in this situation. In the early rushing game, however, toss finds himself without tech, but plenty of range upgraded goons. In this situation, simply place your goons around your choke in a fan shape. Now pull 3 to 4 probes and put them near your choke one at a time. When terran tries to spot uphill using his marines, the marines get eat to goons and tanks fire on your probes. You can hold up terran for a long time until you get your precious templars or corsairs this way. |

Nice report here Matt. I'm glad you took some of my advice into consideration. It's so true... 21 does suck compared to Who Wants to be a Millionaire, and Martin is a newbie. Hehe I love the inside jokes. Ah well, it seemed like a good game despite the ending and the lack of zerg. Nice writing, nice pics, nice report.

It was a good report up until Ghost left. That was pretty disappointing because I was really enjoying the report and following the action well. Next time, report on a full game.

| That game was in the bag when Ghost left. I would have been back on my feet in a minute or so, and we had the protoss untouched natural and mineral natural to mine, along with my mineral natural. The terran had been handled without much problem all game, and I stayed a few minutes after just to see what I could do. Got a lot of SCV kills from a psi raid covered by my goons. With ghost's field forces we would have been able to deny the terran the use of his mineral natural, and he would have been out of the game in a few minutes due to starvation. |
