| Nice. If you can get an image program try cropping the screen shots. That way you want have to shrink them to make them fit and they will look better -- plus we don't need to see the whole screen. Good description, the zerg probably built the hatchery there so he could make troops closer to the enemy. With zerg expansions are often offensive not defensive. Of course I suck so I could be wrong. Write more. |

Good report, nice description of attacks, troops, expansions, etc.
This quote kind of confused me:
"<i>13th drew brown terran and started off at 6 while sup received teal zerg at 6.</i>" So they started in the same spot? :P
My only real problem with this report is that Zergie pretty much owned the game and it wasn't that close. Also, you should try to crop more of your pictures. It increases the load time and you don't have to shrink them.

Arrgh.. First time jitters, drefsab.. I was prolly trying to be too descriptive so I put 12 instead of 6 for one of them.
And about the zerg domination - yeah, I realized that too late. I already made up my mind that I was going to make a report on that game, and I thought that the match would be more evenly balanced. I think that leej lost it early game when he hurried off his rush too much. Plus he's usually a map domination freak so I was expecting a longer game with more territorial battles. oh well. Thanks for the comments.

The report was basicly a 'strait-out-of-the-book' br. In other words it was good, especialy for a first timer. I might be biased, though, because I REALY like hearing of a zerg killing a terran without a single lurker existing.
As for the game, I believe that terran could've held strong after the rush. However, when he saw that the zerg was teching, he didn't take advantage of it and the fact that he wasn't contained. Instead of goliaths, he could've pushed ahead with a few tanks and lots of M&M&F and perhaps had to face 3 guardians when he's pounding on the hive. A few wraiths could've handled those and if not, the zerg would've DEFINALY lost his expansion, crippling him anyway. He just got waited when he should've gone.

Bah...
he had like 6 sunkens at the entrance of his ramp... How was I suppose to get by that, he also had devourers, and enough of them, which Korang missed... hehe...
Oh and that counter strike had what I needed, it just kind of formed a lined, and um, the rest is self explanatory to the hydras... 8 marines 4 firebats, 3 tanks, and I was going to bring valks, but then I noticed that my attack force was dead by mid map..

And 4 medics... I was more worried about his gaurdians in my base at the time of the counter strike, which my valks took care of :)

sup probably used that hatch to lure 13 into attacking it, as he did.
even if sup lost that expansion, it wouldnt do much damage to him cause he wasnt investing in it as a serious expansion.
