Ah, I'm surprised that Terran lost, really surprised. I have a great deal of problems in ZvT late game mostly because of SV-assisted upgraded M&M swarms. I noticed that a hive was built, but I didn't see any hive-level units (did he actually build any defliers, or just a mound)? Wraiths I can counter, BCs I can counter, but 10000 mad stimmed M&M's assisted by SVs, I cannot counter...

| I really liked this.. and I thought the terran had the game in the bag too. Nice twist for the zerg to win after all. Seems like the terran was screwing around with nukes and stuff, when he should have just been pumping m&m's and forgetting about wraiths or bc's. |

| SS, I agree, yep Terran lost at least FIVE (that's how many I counted in the SS) BCs in one small paragraph :-b. That's a LOT of investment. Think about how many marine/meds/SVs he could have had for the same cost. Wow. One thing I've learned nowadays is never to get hasty and just attack with pure BCs. There are very few units that they beat cost effectively just by themselves :-). I think if Terran had just grouped his BCs with his M&M's and SVs, there would have been no stopping him. But yeah, it is tempting to just "get it over with" and charge your expensive units into the fray, but mistakes like that are often very costly... |

It was a hella close game, gg again Mega. I had some defilers, but not enough energy when the BC's came, and I didn't really need them...
I agree with you all though, all you need is mass upgraded M&M with SV support....maybe a wraith or two to scout. Although I must admit it was nice to see a terran mix his units up. |

Yeah, this report pretty much rocked. Not really into the Peachish background but everything else about this report rocked. I was especially impressed with the GIFs... very smooth animation there.
As for the players, I too am irritated that terran lost. He screwed around too much... :-(

| It seems to me that if MegaMan had just used his bcs to take out the zergies expansion at 9 instead of hitting his main, he could have had the game. I don't know about you guys, but I always attack expansions as first priority. It doesn't matter how many hatches and tech buildings a player has if he's out of resources. What do you guys think? |

| Hehe...yeah, well no one wants to hear about how you both just sat there for eight minutes doing nothing before you left, just doesn't read good. :) You just made the mistake many people do when they are winning, which is to stop playing at your best. I think we have all done this at least once in our time on bnet, and have paid for it. But I must say I was impressed that you did so well with your worst race, especially against someone as good as Ex. |

Oh yeah, and forgot to add, that the hydras were the things that really sealed the game for Exo, and the last real attack, so the game was effectively over after that. And besides, you did say "gg" at that point, which is basically the same as surrendering. :)
I'm sorry that I keep blabbing, but this game was incredible. I was observed hoping to see something worth reporting, and at first I was disappointed because I thought MegaMan was gonna run Ex over, and at one point even stopped paying full attention because I had given up on the game being good material. And all the attacks back and forth in the late game... it really was an incredible game to watch. |

Saying "gg" isn't quite the same as surrendering... I've been in games before where I figured I was dead and said "gg," then somehow at the eleventh hour managed to turn the tables on my opponent.
This report was INCREDIBLY cool. Excellent reporting, well-fought game, and the Zerg won, which is always a plus with me. :)
I agree, mass M&Ms with sci vessel support is the way to go as Terran versus Zerg (maybe some tanks if you're dealing with a lot of lurkers). Trying to stop this sort of attack is hellish. Cracklings under dark swarm sometimes work, or guardians if you can get the terrain in your favour. Ultras also sometimes work, but are seldom cost-effective. If you don't have hive tech, you're hosed for certain. |

| Against mass M&M with SV support . . . um . . . I hav'nt actually figured out how to beat that either. Mostly I use guards+scourge. Works some of the time. |
