alright you have some potential so ill give you an actual helpful comment (a rarity)
first off, look for good players. although they don't necessarily have to be "famous NHers", better players create better games to watch, and thus better games to battle report.
the pics. you have good potential with pics/coding crap ... that's pretty obvious. but the big meshes of pictures make it VERY confusing. if you're gonna do things like that, clear up the pictures to make them actually useful in creating mental pictures of the game for us. because that's the true purpose of pictures - to show us what actually happened, a visual aid.
a bit more text, a bit more detail. seemed like a lot of stuff going on without much text.
the naked girls were unneccesary and pretty much in general, an old idea =(
but other than that, great job. some ideas you had were nice .. like the ability to click on the players name on the minimap and see their builds, stuff like that. nice job

Wow, spine being helpful and civil at the same time...you must REALLY have potential.
But for the most part I agree with him. The images were nice but too cluttered and confusing. More text/details!

I like the quality of the composition of your pictures, but they don't seem like in the correct order. This makes picture that supposed to say a thousand words, takes away words that was already mentioned (very confusing).
Beside that, most of the comment on the battle picture (and the naked girls) are very distracting from the flow of the game.
Therefore, if you want a higher rating on a BR, take away the distracting comments (a few jokes are ok when appropriate), compose the picture in the correct order AND/OR put the necessary comments on those pictures to clarify what's going on.
Ok, that's all my ranting for today. Good work on your first BR. |

Good job Fett. I, for one, liked the pictures...m yes they were a bit confusing but I appreciate the work it ust have taken to do that. Second, I think this is a really good start and I see many awsome reports in your future. See you around fetty.

Those were some wonderful graphics, although you might wasnt to make it a *bit* clearer about what is going on...
all in all a nice report, and it actually reminds me more of WilliamWC3 than myself =P

Thanx for the advice everyone, especially Sp|nE. I knew the pics were confusing and stuff, I'll try and fix that next time. I thought of looking for better players, but to get me started, I thought might get some people you don't know. And Sorry for the women in there...it's just my natural side to do something like that. Oh and Bob your not my Idol but ummmmm...your funny...heheh. No no, from what I've seen, the way your gayness and constantly irratating everyone should be inspiring also..<BR><BR>

yeah the report does looks great, especially for a first. This report did remind me a little of my style although I thought some of the stuff was definitely similar to other br.com noteables *cough* *cough* pornography *cough* nobody.
Like people said. Work on the pics a little to make them clearer, work on the text and find better people. You obviously have tons of potential though. |

Good work, I agree with all the earlier comments about pics. People here are rather picky (for good reason) - there's a difference between a very nice looking report (which yours definitely is) versus one that communicates the actual game very well. You have the potential for both, and I think it'd be not too difficult to have your pictures look that great while conveying very useful information at the same time. One doesn't have to suffer to accomodate the other.
Also, heh, who builds 3 gateways before realizing it's islands :-b ? Especially on an unknown map, you'd think that the players would scout with one of their first 10 peons to check out layout, etc. |
