Ah, I was a bit confused as to what you were flaming me about: whether you thought my comment was stupid or whether you thought that I was just a simple jackass.

To Mogalin and Talon:
If you thought that I mean't the bit that was rushed was the details of the game AFTER his ISP cracked on him, no, that is not it - and I'm sorry if it sounded that way, but its obvious to even the biggest dumbasses that that can't be helped.
Wanting not just to add comments like "Good Report", etc, I wanted to add some constructive critisism, and looking back on the report, I just thought that a portion <i>near</i> the end was a little rushed, as it went through a few battles without explaining in really indepth - unlike the battles before which were explained with an almost first person perspective on the action.
As I said before though, this report still rocked, and in the end, isn't that all that matters?

conformer: ya it was rushed towards the end. there were so many battles going on at one time i couldnt take notes on all of them, it was insane =[

sonneilon: it was better than i thought it was going to be. personally i think it lived up to it's hype and then some, but i might be a little biased since i was so into this whole Perfect Storm thing and read the book, etc.

| that was sweet....good description....gay ISP....but that deserved 9-9.8....if u had made the pics super ultra mega big pretty and candylikeish (word?) then u wud have definately gotten a 10...if u have photoshop, use the text effects especially bevel and emboss...those kick ass. btw i saw perfect storm and the patriot and liked both of them, but i just think patriot was a tad better 1) cause in perfect storm the guys died of stupidity, (i.e. hey lets boat right in the middle of the most ferocious [sp?] storm in history and see if we can make it!) while in patriot the die for glory of freedom for their country (and to make tea cheaper) 2) it just had a better plot line...most of the time true story's are great, but the plot isnt soap opra enough and not enough tension..but still if they were both BR's they'd get 11's (er why am i talking more bout movies than the report? help me out here...) |

dude, they got a transmission saying that there were 30 ft. seas on the way back. they knew it was a tropical storm that would cause some waves but nothing the boat couldnt handle. the chances of the three storms coming together the way they did was a billion to one and no one had even come close to predicting that as of yet. remember, they were on a 70 ft. boat in the middle of the atlantic ocean, it's not like they have a doppler radar in the back and they aren't weather experts either.
i could see putting down the plot line had HollyWood just made it up, but they didn't, this actually happened and after reading the book and watching specials on it, most of what was in the movie (right down to the names of the helicopter rescue pilots and the way they greeted the people in the water) was true.
but i haven't seen The Patriot yet, (i heard it got a C- though) i'll go see it and tell you what i think =]

I was at my friends house last night Bane, and he uses Nutscrape, so your pics didn't load right =/ This BR was awesome!!!!!! I loved it, cause the way Pillars just took it up a notch. I can't believe how good that was. However it was rushed, I am undecided on the rating. I don't think that it is fair to rate your reports. You own to hard, and are my partner. Awesome players, awesome game, and I thought you did a good job depicting the action in your pics.
I was seriously considering giving you a 10 right up until the last page. I have to agree with an earlier comment and say that the ending did seem a little rushed. I know this is due partly to the fact that you got disced. I hope you didn't do any permanent damage to your computer when that happened. If it had been me, I would have at least thrown my keyboard... :-)

sorry for flooding you're comments section bane but,1 more thing about the storm, when a big storms hit's. they take bigger ships out to sea, like when huge storms come around the navy takes all the ships and takes them out too sea instead of keeping them docked, in the hurricane's etc... and the best thing to do when a storm like that is around is to go right through it. not "run" away from it.

1) they have no conclusive evidence of whether the Andrea Gail (Clooney's boat) turned around or ocntinued to go right through it
2) the storm completely shifted tracks and headed east which is an <i>extremely</i> rare thing with hurricanes
3) i don't know about you but i wouldn't want to be going through a storm where there are waves 30 feet longer than the length of my boat

when i said more then 3 times the length I meant that a naval ship is more then 3 times the length of the andrea gail. and then i spouted off about the charicters. instead of saying clooney you can say billy tyne wich was the charicter that clooney played. And then i babbled that the sister ship to the andrea gail was the hannah boden and the captains name to the hannah boden was linda greenlaw. so incase you mentioned anything about her you could use her real name instead of the actresses name, basicly the whole post i was bored and waiting for rainbow six to load so i was babbling:)
