When I saw two 9s and a seven, I knew who the seven was without even checking comments section :P However, when I saw the rating, I tried to read the report without looking at the pictures, and think about it that way. After that, I think the <i>overall</i> rating is appropriate.

Pretty good report - lots of detail and pictures.
There were a few typos though and a lot of dropped words and grammar mistakes. Most of these mistakes would have been caught easily by a read over. There were enough dropped words/grammer mistakes/typos to be distracting.

I usually think Bob is right on with his ratings but this time I think he should have gone lower. No way this is gold. Sorry. Lame game and things were missing from it, to many battles and not enough tech reports. You jumped from M$M to sci ves in ur pics and there were no battles. Bob and Whoop, you are the dumbest guys alive when it comes to rating BR's. They don't HAVE to be humorous to be entertaining. By giving this a 6/7, you are comparing it to text-only reports that just tell a story and don't show a thing. Seph BRed a great game, had pretty graphics, and no grammar problems, and you give him not even gold or barely gold.

Good report. Good but not very good. I think you kissed Myst's ass too much. I think this was the worst part of the report. As I see it rating works as follows (I would rate that way if I could): 1-2 (bronze) are bad reports and not worth to read. 3-4 are text-only reports with a not-that-good writing style. 5-6 are either good text-onlys or average text with some pics. 7-8 are either great text-only reports or they have good text AND pics. 9 are really good reports both with text and pics and maybe an animated gif. 10 are the really special ones. A 10 report must have great text, a great game, very good pics and something special (like Breeze's 3D temple and flash intro). 10s are hard to get.
This report has good text and nice pics. definitely a 7-8.
The rating now is 7.8 which is absolutely fair. Don't whine, you won't change anything except that Bob is laughing at you. |

Wowie... those are some of the most professional looking pics i've seen in a long time... In fact the whole layout looked incredibly good (on netscape at least, don't have IE due to the fact windows sucks hardcore). Unfortunately the writing was a bit sub-par... improve that and i'm sure these reports will be getting 9s consistently :)
