Well a couple of problems. Nothing too big either than some grammer errors and highlighting the names for there repective color. Other than that easy to follow. Find a better game next time and this would be a 7 :D

Nice job. Pics worked out nicely, was well written. I would suggest that you use the "align" function with your pics, so that the text wraps around them, it makes it flow much more easily. Perhaps as you get more used to pic editing, some collages would work nicely as well. This looks like it was mostly done with photo editor, which is ok, but I think that grabbing a demo version of PSP would work much better, it makes pic editing sooooo much easier...
In any case, good report, hope to see more soon! |

This was a good first attempt. The game was <b>way</b> too one-sided, however, and that will hurt the rating. The pictures (that didn't get messed up) were well done. I think this deserves a 5, but it will probably get a 6 or 7 since it was your first report and you are a girl.

Good report, but the current rating of 8 is realy generous.
One more pass of editting the text for minor errors would have made the report 100% more pleasant to read. Also, it was pretty clear from the introduction who was going to win.
Apart from these the only problem was the game itself being bad. |

Hi Lady Paladin, I'm Sid6.9, sure you never heard of me, but these are the Things I do, do to your report...
The Things I liked-
-Nice Intro, nice to have a little info on yourself.
-Good detailed writing of the action, flowed nicely for me.
-Pic Quality was great, no problem seeing the pics, even with the Char Homeworld type map.
-Pic Selection was okay, there were a few pics that were unnecessary as it added nothing new to the report, but were still good eye candy. :)
-The game itself, while a little on the one side, was still a good attack/counterattack game. Plenty of action, although I did know Zal was hurting most of the game. Why no Psi Storm me wondered. Psi Storm > Zerg.
-I liked the quote section at the end, that's cool to have.
Things that could be changed-
-The Alt Text wasn't really necessary as it too didn't add anything extra, be it, for the pics, or for humourous remarks. Most people usually use Alt-Text to tell something about the pic, and not what the pic is. It's kinda a waste to say "Mini-Map #1" when we know it is a mini-map.
-I think if you had a black background with your report it would have enhanced it possible by 1 more point. Maybe that's my personal preference, but a different background to me adds so much for the report.
Personal Comments- Great first battle report, I hope you do more. I really did enjoy it from beginning to end, despite it not being a great game, but still, you presented it very well. |

Unlike some commenters, I read the report! :-)
I think it's a bad idea to use a <b>bold</b> font, I just don't like reading it. The pics were simple but OK, although some of them looked like it was christmas on the zerg homeworld of Char...
The writing was very good (compared to average BR.com writing) although there were some minor mistakes. You managed to describe the action very well, had me interested.
I "knew" who was going to win when I saw who the players were, but so what? =)

Not a bad first report, though I think you were a tad generous with the pictures and the game quality was not all that great. I know you meant to do it that way but the load time was still kind of a letdown. Also, there really wasn't enough text to compensate for all those pics.
All that said, its obvious you put some work into this and it wasn't that hard to follow what was going on once the pics loaded. I'll go with a 6 here.

I pretty much agree with what everyone else has said - maybe a background, a nice image editor (Paintshop Pro or something), etc, etc, and the report would be really improved, too.

Thankd for the tip on the bold font. I thought it would turn out looking nice as it was originally. It was gray text on black background, but it somehow changed once I uploaded the html text to the BR.com website. As it was before, it was looking good.. I guess the site administraitors but up some kind of perameter that prevents anything but white?

The load time was long, I know.. It seemed to load fairly quickly for me every single time. After reading your comment, I went back over the report.. and you're right, there are about 4 or 5 pics that could have been dropped, and about 2 or 3 that could have been made into just comment size pics. I'll keep that in mind next time. Thanks. :)
