A funny report as always, but I beg to differ on the way you went about playing this particular game. Chapter 1, To Kill a Newbie was an even match. Both of you played the game as it was supposed to be played. With this game, you restricted yourself to the survival of your own ship, and you made no mention of telling the other player so I assume you never did tell them.
That then, is a psychological advantage on your part. they can attempt to lay waste to your home base and you wouldn't panick and hurting your economy would not directly affect the performance of your game because you were playing a one battlecruiser game. Your oppenent assumed you were playing a full game, and his strategy was developed as such.
I agree RainWarrior, your second opponent is not an expert, not by a long shot, but based on his tactics, I believe he would have proved to be a more formidable opponent than his performance had you played the game in its regular fashion as well.

Playing with only one attacking unit is too serious of a handicap for the game to be fair. (You'll notice the SCVs never attacked, the sci vessels never used irradiate, etc.)
The opponents ignorance of the rules is Drefsab's only chance at victory, as any newbie can beat down a single BC, even a dmatrixed one.

Gungan... I'm sorry, but by your logic, any fight is an unfair one unless each side tells the other exactly what strat they're using. Had Dref told the newblars that he was using one BC, they would respond in standard Newblar fashion and build 6.022*10^23 turrets all around their base, to stall him for the half hour till they had a sufficient number of wraiths or whatever to blast one cruiser out of the sky. :-)
