6th bizatch. Interesting style. crappy game to report, though. Kinda one-sided. Good writing, but get a better game to report. Try obsing a game(Bob U rule), so you can keep track of everything better. IMHO, easier to report and less one-sided sounding.
6 or 7 probably.

Interesting point of view usage. A bit hard to follow and needed a bit more detail. For 1 i couldnt tell if you teched to gaurdians fast or if it was just a long game.

Did you actually interview your opponents after the battle, or did you arrive at what their thoughts might have been after the fact?

novel, and a fresh perspective, i liked the style, and some of it was poetry in motion:
"The scv looked back and saw the mutalisks flying towards him. Maybe there’d be some medics in heaven" =D
Sadly, you made it REALLY annoying to read where u named the person at the start of every sentance:
"Drintr’s attack on the expansion was successful. Drintr smiled happily, it seemed as if things were finally going his way. Drintr looked at his Zerg base and ordered the construction of a greater spire to be built in hopes of teching to guardians"
That gets irritating very quickly, use the word "he" more instead.
Otherwise, it was pretty good, i love the 2-way perspective thing of every event, and i thought the colouring was a nice touch too.
I think you'll end up with ~6 for this, the game was a little breif by the sounds of it (although hardly 1-sided), i would normally ask for more detail, but i think the writing style negates the nescesity for that. Just try to do the same on a better game, and if possible, try to orientate the reader a little with a mini-map about 10 minutes into the game, just so that we get a better feel for where events are going on.

| I liked the style as well! And that Ice[V]an-comment was pretty funny.... lol... Vans... ;-) Anyway, it was really refreshing to read those comments, that weren't exactly necessary for the game but still made it fun to read (like that scv comment ling-erie mentioned and so on). Hm, actually, I don't want to repeat everything he said so... I liked it, and I would give it more than 6 but oh well. :) |

This was a horrible game. The pics were... well, not good. However, your writing is highly commendable. I enjoyed the flow of this report. I would guess that you could write an outstanding text-only report (of a quality game). But, whatever you do, write another one. Pics or no pics.
As far as a rating goes... this warrants a 5 or 6 from me depending on my mood. But because I enjoyed your written approach and style so much I say 7.

Wow good report. The writing was very good, but the pics sucked. As was said before me, at least 1 minimap somewhere during the game would've helped. If this was played pre-1.08 then the pic thing is understandable. It's easy to forget to press print screen while playing. If this was played on 1.08 then you should've made some nice collages from the replay. Oh well, well worth the gold rating.
