Good work! There were a few minor English stumbling points that broke the flow, but they didn't hurt anything too much. A couple of the pictures added to the report well. I liked the conversational style and the emphasis on strategy over cookie-cutter LT reports. 8.5

Good report. I don't agree with much of your strategy statements though :)
"Even the best ways people recommend taking out that zerg expansion such as an early turbo newbie or massive marine rush, are hard to hide and easy to counter when seen."
If you do it right, he can't stop a hard marine rush if he spent 300 minerals on a hatchery, the brute force of the rush should kill him even though he knows it's coming. Either that or he makes like 5 sunkens in which case you already won (because he wasted 5 drones and is mining only his main anyway, so the expansion is useless, or he has to waste time on making just drones, putting no pressure on you, so you can tech or do whatever the hell you want.) |

A terran with only his main can take down a zerg with one expansion, just get some turrets for lurker/muta and you'll rape him. Get valks too, they rape both mutas, guards, scourge and overlords. Plus they die very slowly to spore/hydra. Often you can turtle a bit with bunk/tank/turrets, effectively raping any lurkers, and just run through his main raping overlords, ignoring anti-air fire.
Just my thoughs :) Good report even though you gave away the ending. |

Theorycraft is wonderful, but i wrote this learning the hard way, most of it involving losing (terran side). He had 900 gas when i landed marines in his main, imagine what he coulda dished out in 2 minutes :-/
Then again, you have CrazySwede Powers™, so you might be able to pull it off :] |

good game Newb. i liked the constant flow of your report. i would have preferred a terran vs toss victory since in my opinion this is a much harder battle (and the one i have to get psyched for.. Dark Templar, Dark Archon, Bah!)
but you made the game interesting with your constant two pronged attacks. your scouting could have been better but i guess the heat of the game and all that.
as it was you scouted, kept him off balance and won yourself a game against an opponent who was historically better than you, which had to mess with your head going into this game.
Congrats man!
i didnt really notice any writing errors and the pics, though small, contributed something. the alt text kind of repeated what you stated in the body of the report which helped keep track but also seemed a bit redundant.

Yay! Newb, I don't comment on brs quite s often anymore . . . mostly only the relly good and really bad ones. Great job on this! I enjoyed the flow of the text and the pictures were nice highlights . . . it sorta reminded me of shockwave, or fractalwave . . . wavish, in other words ;). I would personally recommend a nice big collage or two, but then I suppose tht'd just be enforcing my own style upon you =)
I'd give this one a 9. I do believe Terrans are the strongest race in the game, but also the hardest to play. It balances out in a fun kind of way. |
