Pretty nice. You might want to work on making the report funny or more interesting it you're going to stick to text-only's. Also, just a friendly warning: Never say you're skilled in your own BR. It's just not manner.

Well I personally don't mind text only's all that much, as long as their good. I figure a text only is better than nothing, and alot better then the newbies who post 8 lines of "lalalalalalalalalalala". Sovereign's right though, it was pretty one-sided, find a better game next time.
If I was a rater, I'd give this a 5.5-6, only because my BR with pics only got a 6 (yea I know like 4 of them were broken, but give me a break, I wanted gold). Well actually, I'd still give this a 5.5-6, I'm just trying to make you feel better. |

Hmm, I loved this report. Sure, I've been putting off finishing my report for nearly 2 weeks now, but this has *sort of* gotten me interested again. Who knows, it might be done this month...
Anyway, I don't agree with the 5 that this received. I'd say 8, except that it did seem a little one-sided. Therefore, 7.

| I was listening to POD because well, for 1, I like them but not as much as my "Steve's Heavy Shit" cd which has stuff like Slayer, Zeromancer, Metallica, Crazytown, Static-X, Powerman 5000, KoRn and so on and son. It just happened that I was too lazy to put that cd on :P |

I kinda like text only, but its better when you know what map its on, like LT. I never figured out how the map looked like, before i found it in my download directory, a simple minimap would be nice. You describe everything with incredible flair, and it was a joy to read, but still i like pics =P
Oh and one place i got a little confused, i think it was in the start were your vults hunted drones, suddenly you said sumthin like: "My vults was heavily damaged by the mutalisks aerial attack" Up until that point, i never realized zerg had mutalisk :P Small shit i know, but it got me confused.
Or maybe its just my pitiful lack of intelligence =P

I have to agree, some of the bits were really confusing, I tried looking up Sanctuary in my BroodWar directory but the only thing I found was this 4 player Twilight Map, which DEFINATELY did not have 11 mineral patches at the main.
btw, the game was kinda one sided, but that's ok, since if there was actually any sort of tactics or manuvering on this map, I would have been VERY confused
A nicely done text only, although, yeah, some of the grammer was bad, I don't think there were any typos though, which is good.
Also, did you save a replay? that might help you develop the report more, since we had no idea what your opponent was doing the whole time

Yo Cer, I like the br and all but uh.. just a few things annoy the hell outta me..
1. How you describe things like: "a scorpion-like beast" or "my metallic units" .. "6 dog-like beasts" just say scantid.. or metal or ling.. you know man..
well.. i duno about other ppl but it just annoys me.
btw spellcheck owns.
(psst... next time you make a BR lemme look over it.. i have some great ideas for these things) |
