You know, writing these things late at night, before I go to bed, is alot of fun :).
This installment does explain some things that were left open in the first chapter thingie.
Also, people like Mattzarella, FinalFlare, and even Zergling all have BRs pending. Maybe even Divvyo, or Nobody! So no, this site isn't succumbing to pure fiction just yet. Personally I enjoy writing these alot, though you people might hate this one, I dunno :(.
Background is white because I couldn't invert the pictures and retain good detail ( which already has been squandered by my scanner, to an extent ). Unfortunately I'm going to have to learn how to draw scenes with horses rather quickly, lolz.
I should be releasing these as soon as they're rated, based primarily on the fact that I like writing them, due to which they come out fast.

| at times your writing is very good, and very well put together, but then sometimes you trail off, or don't explain things enough (like how the demon thing got there). Your vocabulary was superb, and the plot is interesting enough. Overall, I'd say a 7-8. |

Nice. Like NFT, I am slightly afraid this will fall into the cliche` of "A boy born with super powers and only he can save the world FROM THE EVIL DARKNESS and he is helped by a eccentric cast of charachters while he develops his powers."
I pray that it won't, because I Reeeeaaalllyyy hate that genre.

And btw, I just want to comment on the subject Dref brought up in the last Story comments section.
Now I think about it, it does seem kinda unfair (rookmark wise) that a BR, which will SURELY take lots more time than a chapter in a story recieves maybe the same rating and therefore the same rookmark.
But I know that writing a whole story can easily be as diffucult as a br, so maybe Dref is right that these short stories should only get a rating every third time maybe?

Too late, you've already fallen into cliche. Hopefully you can climb back out, and soon. ;) BR.com writers and cliches go together like peanut butter and jelly (look, a cliche!). I felt like I could skip half the story because I already knew what would be said. Still, it was light-years better than any fanfic I've seen in a long time, except Kane's, which this was comparable to imo.
I really liked the first one in this series. This wasn't as good as that one but it was still quite nicely done. |
