The only thing different between this and your forum posts to me is the background color. You have the background color posted in the main html when it should be inside the table html.
The links you posted in the forum have black text on black background, so I don't really see how that is better. |

imo the game was very boring. it was 1 sided the entire way through with little to no micro.
your writing style is pretty good.. i didn't catch many spelling errors
the big problem was the weird spacing between paragraphs, the random lines, the white on white text and weird placement of pics in relation to your paragraphs =/ but that is all involving html so that's not a big problem =/ |

| You don't have to use CSS (style tag) at all. Just use the bgcolor attribute of the table tag. |

Definitely a good effort, but there were too many details that were aesthetically or grammatically distracting from the focus of the report. Things don't have to be perfect, but every little mistake jars the readers' attention, like watching a movie when the power goes out every twenty seconds.
Visually, simplify your layout, as pics and text are haphazardly placed. Pics could use some editing work too, with the zoomed pics too blurry and small, and the full screen pics filled with too much useless detail.
A proofreader would have easily caught the many grammatical mistakes; it's always good to ask a friend to read it over first.
Finally, find a better game. This one lacked suspense, and it seemed like the other team was your punching bag all game (they never even attacked your base?).
5.5 - 6. Improve in some areas and you could be a good reporter.

Through seemingly one/two battles and no creeping a POTM got to level 6.
I saw you use "are" instead of "our" and a couple more. Proofread.

This is pretty good and it would have been better if it had a background. #14 I know exactly how you feel, but dont say anything like that again because they will use this against you. Trust me they have done it to me.
Heres something I use when im making the HTML for my BR:
I take a sheet of paper and copy down all the needed ( background or text color for example ) HTML tags and write them down. And/or Use adobe pagemill... Thats what I used in creating my previous report.
Keep trying. I know how HTML can be a pain in the ass for the first few tries. |

I've been a smurf on this site ever since the Cattlebruiser days, and I must say that while this report is nowhere as good as many I've seen, I think you have skills. I've seen three things in almost every good report I've read.
1. Organization and visual appeal. The forum post was excellent, except for some probs with picture/paragraph adjustment.
2. A close game. Mayble if you had reported on a see-saw battle, you'd have gotten gold.
3. Humor. Nobody wants to read a stale report(we attacked, we lost, we attacked again, we won). Toss in some humor here and there, but don't overdo it.
All things considered, all you need is some tweaks to pull you into gold report range. And ignore the put-downs, focus on the actual criticism, whether postive/negative. |

To Cattle bruiser and everybody who actully cared enough to offer supportive critism thank you. I hope all of the respectfull people undeerstand why im so mad. Its that jack ass's our alowed on this site. I wasn't at all mad but than i started seeing all of this crap from these guys. A couple of years ago this place was really nice to be in and everyone was very supportive.. now going here makes me feel like shit and im tired of it. So too all the jackass's out there who think i don't deserve soem respect (not asking for you to like the report just asking for you to respect it) should go and get a life and stop wasting your god damn time insulting people who actully give a damn. SO go Screw yourself A-HOles!!

wait, before I read, i have a secret.
In programs like microsoft frontpage (a page editing program), you can do the following:
- On the bottom of the page, there are 3 tabs
- the middle one says html
- type ur br in the first tab
- when ur finished, goto the html tab (middle)
- and select all the text, then copy (ctrl+c)
- then goto br.com, then paste your br!
Volia!

Hk, don't listen to what those assholes have to say.
First of all, I think you should realle find an HTML maker thingy program. There's a ton of em out there, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Frontpage, Webmaster, HTML Mill (or whatever) and more...
Also, get a picture editor, Photoshop, Fireworks or PhotosuiteIII. The pix in this report didn't seem very appealing, try adding borders or text (with one of programs above).
One last thing; don't bother bitching at people who flame you. They'll just reply...
