Noice. Why the Fuck did he just stand there and let the squiders sink the carriers? It seemed pretty obvious that if he had them for support, he could have taken out most of your base, with the flak cannons down and all. Why did the dolphins just stand there when they could have killed the squid? |

I don't see why people are saying this isn't a battle report. Very good style - I look forward to reading your future ones with pictures (even if crappy ones).
Why didn't his dolphins attack the Carriers? At least when I used to play Red Alert 2 (unless this is another version), if you ordered a Dolphin to attack something a Squid had grabbed on to, the squid would release for a few seconds. I imagine if he'd done that, those Carriers could have steamrolled your base.
Still, good game, and good report. |

Great writing as usual. It'd be better if you'd post it all at once. The fact that some people flaunt their illiteracy is no reason to split a single battle into thirds. A break between games in a series is the only situation where breaking up makes sense.

I concurr with #11 and #6....
I still play Red Alert 2 and its expansion, Yuri's Revenge. The Allied dolphin unit is *specifically* designed to counter the squid. If a squid is grappling a ship and dolphins shoot the ship (ship takes minor damage), then the squid will come off.
I can understand if you had so many squids that his dolphins were too busy with the squids killing them to shoot the squids killing the ships... but say so.
I doesn't make any sense at all to say that his dolphins just stood idly by while giant squid dragged his ships to Davey Jones' locker. |

Also, I guess you've never played the RA2 add-on, Yuri's Revenge, because in that there's actually a unit called Boris, who is the Russian equivalent of Tanya....
Not that it confused me to have you mention Boris because any seasoned RA2/YR veteran should know that you must have been playing the original RA2 game since the Soviets no longer have the cloning vats structure in YR. |
