Let me say that the text was too small, it was far longer than I expected...
And this is the most amazing piece of writing I have ever seen. The scope, depth and drama in it was excellent. The descriptions were perfect; not too long, not too short, and not boring.

for those of you a little peeved at length, would you rather i upload the next parts in smaller segments of around 2000 - 4000 words? i wanted to make sure i was going to finish this part completely before i uploaded anything, and decided that i'd submit the entire piece instead of making nine or ten posts for each part.

Wow! And by "wow" I don't mean World of Warcraft. OK, i'll admit it, my "joke" was a piece of crap. Your report was long, very long. More people would have read it if you submitted it in sections. You could have probably sent it into a publisher for a short war strories book. Well I dont know, maybe it's possible or something. Since I didn't read it though I guess i'll print it out so I have something for my flight from here to Chicago. Oh wait, i'm not going to Chicago, OK i must be drunk. Drunk with (almost) correct punctuation, grammar ect.
