I enjoyed it. And I think WC3 reports aren't usually as good(exciting)as SC reports, due to the low amount of units I guess. So the fact that I it is WC3 makes this report even better.

Hey man, great report. Well, written, and even though pictures were nothing to write home about, I think it deserves a 9.
Report aside, I'd like to ask you a question--could you give me an unbiased opinion of war3 TFT right now? I played vanilla a while back, but went back to BW cuz it was not too much fun. Is it worth trying war3 out again--as in putting enough time into it to get good again? Thanks.

Liked it; writing was solid, game is obviously amazing and interesting, and there was plenty of relevant stretgic comments / insight.
Pics didn't really matter, I barely glanced at them, writing gave me everything I needed. Could possibly have added humour value by posting the "gangster player" quotes, I love those :) Funny how many AT players are like that :/

Thanks for the comments guys. I guess I didn't really spend enough time on the pictures, but I started it at 9:30 P.M., so by the time 1:00 A.M. rolled around I was ready for bed. All I was really going for was a few illustrations to show what I was talking about anyway. That's the same reason that I didn't include the "gangster talk". I originally had a whole paragraph about it, and was going to include illustrations, but when I realized I'd have to cut and paste all the text out I just said screw it, I'm too damn tired.
So thanks for the 9, and hopefully my submission will give everyone else the incentive they need to start posting their own. |

| Oh, I forgot to say whether I thought TFT was worth switching to. I really doubt you'll like it, unless you like playing team games, as solo is just the same thing over and over. What I mean by this is it's fun for the first thirty games or so, but when you realize you already know what your opponent is going to be doing just by seeing what race he is in the loading screen it gets pretty old. This isn't the case for 2v2 though, so if you're a team player I would say go ahead and make the switch, you'll have a lot of fun. |

Nice report, you explained what was happening pretty well and also included some thoughts on what the players ought to have done. (One of the things I like in a report is a discussion of strategy.)

| The thing with w3 is that the units are all so big that the standard overhead view tends to cut out a lot of the action, as it is going on in the space of more than one screen. I noticed while watching replays that I could see more of the action all at once by zooming down, which vastly increased the viewable area. That's why most of the pictures I took are from one zoomed position or another, as I found that I was able to capture more of the action that way. |
