Fantastic.

Well, very good, to say the least. Nice use of Photoshop. The layout could use some work, and a better font! Also, black on white is old now.

Pretty good. But I do have a few helpful tips. I struggled reading some of the things on the minimap. The reason for this was because of the white "You are looking here" box that appears on the standard minimap. Use your fill tool, and take the most noticeable color around, and within that white box, and fill the box itself. This helps to obscure vision of the map.

Also, just because turning pictures into wierd shapes (such as random polygons) looks cool, don't discount your standard rectangle. It's your best friend.

All in all, good report. Nothing revolutionary, but good.

I liked the report, but it seems to me english is not your native language. if that is the case, I won't hold it against you that you made many mistakes, typo's and such. And how can make Protoss units a "human" wall? If you take offense to me criticizing your effort: you should. I never wrote one myself and I appplaud you for your effort.

Solid report, just try and get someone to proofread, a few spelling and grammar errors that distracted me.

also, i don't know if this was part of the plan, but that grandma out of an airplane thing gets old fast.

cheers and keep it up

I'm getting there, I'm getting there...

2v2's are hard to report, and keeping that in mind, you didn't do such a bad job. There was room for improvement, however. One of the problems is keeping your reader from getting confused. To this end, I suggest color-coding the names of the players. It's something everybody used to do back in the day. Clarity is key to the report.

The images, for the most part, were "throw-away" images. By this I mean that the report could have been the same without them. With the exception of minimaps, they did not exemplify, clarify, or reinforce the action at all. Considering how much effort was put into them, I suggest spending more on considering what they do for your report.

Most were simply showing hydralisks getting blown apart by siege tanks. I already know what that looks like. Putting them in triangles and circles doesn't make them any better or more useful to the report.

The best image, in my opinion, was the hydra ambush in game 2 (BR6bttl11.jpg). It was a perfect capture of what you said. A collage isn't necessary, and thankfully wasn't used. I hope this makes sense.

The writing, while it flowed nicely, also has room for improvement. I am not talking about grammar-wise either, or bad grandma jokes.

As a battlereporter, you need to do more than just explain what someone did and why. Think John Madden. You are the observer, you have foresight and knowledge of the game. Share this with us, share this with me.

Reading game two was almost a chore. The way you described the hydralisk/tank engagements made it seem like they were two artless boxers trading roundhouse punch after roundhouse punch. Perhaps this was really the case, in which case you might want to pick a better game.

However, I think it's different. The zerg player was obviously trying to keep his partner alive, while grabbing expansions and staying at a relatively low tech level until money was flowing in. He didn't even use lurkers. Why? He wasn't aiming to end it early, he wanted to contain and eventually overpower. To this end, he waited or baited the terran into attacking, where his unsieged tanks could be overpowered by his low tech. His use of burrowed hydralisks was unique, yet you did not comment on how this won him the game.

This is what seperates a good battlereporter from an average one. This is what makes John Madden a good commentator. Talk strategy man, analyze what is being done instead of just describing it.

Still, there was a lot of work into this, and I'd feel guilty in giving it silver. Have a 7

Good report. Were, uh, a few of those games played on vanilla? Just seemed like it, I guess.

I liked the things you did with your pictures. They looked well done, and bright. A few of them were cropped a bit too close, showing a little land around the fighting troops helps orient them on the temple and makes the reader know they aren't missing anything. Anyhoo, 8.

It was normal SC, where did you find the replays? I remember these games from my SC times (its Portuguese ppl vs Portuguese ppl in them :P) when CW 2x2s like the one [69] vs SR) and the other two guys were really common, glad to see someone still remembering those old times ;) nice report :D
