I'm guessing you had to double post some of the parts of the story in there to make the length limit?
If you're going to make a report on a game like this, you HAVE to MAKE it funny. If you have an epic 2v2 or really gay ffa it is possible for the game to, in effect, describe itself through the events and be enjoyable. Something like this has to be molded into something truly enjoyable.
And I don't think you can really be taught how to make that happen, you just have to 1) have that talent to know what is funny and timing to know when to put it and 2) put in the time and effort to make sure the effort is up to snuff.
This wasn't bad, but it just felt empty.
I'd say a 4, but I'd definitely like to see more efforts from you. |

| eep. you never never never never never never never should have to do anything to make the report limit ever. if you do, you report is too short. your writing was pretty good though, put some time into crafting a lengthier report on a good game (maybe a few cropped pics too) and I can see gold from you. |

About the site dying: it generally has times where it's extremely alive, and at other times it dies out for a while. To be honest a new reporter needs to show up to take my place :/
This report was okayish for a first - pics, better format, better game, those would already do alot. Just check the 9+ reports :]

I think it would help everybody greatly if they wrote down their reports or printed them out. Its very easy to ignore errors when you're typing on a computer screen; this kind of apathy leads to thinking "oh, its easy to fix because its on a computer and I will do it later."
Stop the self depreciation by the way. The only thing worse than a bad battlereport is the author telling me in advance that his report sucks.
