Good job, I liked this one better than your first. I think the usage of present tense really helps make me care a little bit more about what the players are doing, even though you stated that the game was played a year ago. Also, I noticed that you had fewer silent pauses and awkward 'ummm's than the last one, which was good.
That said, this game seemed a bit one sided. As great as julyzerg is, the outcome of the came was pretty obvious from the time he switched from spire tech to ultras. Theres just no way a zerg can be outresourced all game like that and still pull out a win.
So I would say 9 for the commentating, which was more fluid this time around, but only a 7ish for a relatively one sided game. All of you math nerds out there may have realized that this averages to an 8. Now I just need to get that rater password to enforce my opinions... |

Yeah, I agree with Decay. It pretty much started with JulyZerg losing zerglings for no good reason and stayed there.
Commentary is good, but I'm confused whether you're trying to do a "live" commentary, or an after-fact analysis. I'd say around an 8 for that, but overall 7-ish because of the game. |

It was the first time I had seen the game. So when I loaded up the replay I thought, why not commentate on it? So it's a mix of "live" // after-fact analysis I think, since yeah, the game is a year old so it doesn't really apply to now. I'm just trying to get in practice for the Jeadong vs Stork games coming up this Saturday which I will try to watch live if I can figure out how.

I'm halfway through the first vid, but there's a few things I want to point out so far:
First off, the left start on tau cross is not 8 o'clock. Call it nine or ten or just "the left start" or whatever you want, but, unless they have weird faced clocks in oregon, that's not 8 o'clock. Dunno why that bugged me, but it did.
Secondly, you interjected something like "anytime has done very well in leagues" in the middle of your strategy discussion, where it served no purpose and only held up what you were saying. If you wanted to discuss their accomplishments, do it at the very, very beginning or just don't worry about it.
Lastly, a strategic point: lair morphing and no hydra den does not equate to muta. I understand your point about july being known for his mutalisks, but I doubt anytime would read seeing a morphing lair with no den as july going muta because the den usually doesn't go down until the lair is over halfway done and with the lower economy start on july's part, holding off on it even longer is not completely unusual.
That's all right now, just wanted to say those things before I forgot them, will comment more later on. |

I really don't like these. It seems like it requires a lot less work than real battlereports, the picture is often grainy, and this game in particular was really boring.

I'm actually planning on making a report true to the BR.com style. I've been playing around with guncam and it seems to work on my PC.
