Hey nice report. "Carrier Hiding" is a tactic that gets me from time to time. It never fails, the games where I fail to scout the entire map, that ONE place that I didn't scout is the where the Doom fleet is being constructed. This a great example of how important scouting is to a game. Praetor was smart in hiding his stargates. I should have known better, but even when I attacked that expansion, I DROPPED from the right side avoiding his choke. Foolish me, I never saw the stargates that crafty Praetor put at his choke. Grrr.. I'm confident I could have pulled out a victory if I had seen those stargates just a few minutes earlier. Good game Praetor.

That was a fun/good report..
I liked the Pro Bowl rambling..
Also liked your speaking with the Personel and your characterization with the zeals and stuff..
Hard to xplain but I enjoyed it...

Sounds like a weird game, but is a good BR for a game played awhile ago.=]
Question: If Johnny had opted for frontal assaults...? Does he always do drops to attack?
#5 .Praetor (port-sac124.cwo.com)[7639]
Johnny did better to drop. Both my chokes were guarded by 2-3 cannons, plus the high ground advantage. Of course, if he had frontal assaulted my expansion, he would have seen those stargates.....

Well, at least it's a game where Protoss beats Terran. I've been seeing reports of so much of the opposite that I was starting to despair...

This was one of the better text reports I've read, you put in even one good shot and it's a gold (though personally I would have given it a seven anyway.) Really entertaining read.

I love it how I'm getting praised for the 'intelligence' to 'hide' all my tech buildings at my choke... I suppose I can thank Blizzard, who made me build within range of my pylons. The dirty secret is, my chokes were the only place I actually had active pylons =).

HunterD, thanks for your compliments. If you've read other reports of mine, you know that in ten reports, I've never posted a single screen shot =). And, of course, it's hard to catch zealots playing pro bowl when they're on duty. Somehow they always know when the observer is around to take the incriminating photo! Grrr....

The hiding carrier trick worked against Mark4 too =). I seem to have found the admin's weakness. MUAHAHHA. It was a small map, too.

Only if you try it on good reports...I've noticed nobody tries to get last on mine. I guess I failed the litmus test, huh?

What? Are you saying you're reports are too acidic?

...Is there some secret joke that I'm missing here? ;p

No, litmus test is slang for anything that determines a threshold. For instance: people trying to get last comments or not is a threshold that separates reporters (according to maareek). Being in the group that doesn't get last comments = falling below the threshold = failing the litmus test.

The irony is I just added a last comment to a maareek report.
