-rd-zard is a 7-1 ladder player at 1141.
Don't say his control sucked or something, cuz he is good.
Also, im sorry for making it ladder, meant to go to other =[
sorry.

#2 JSH (martinsix.ne.mediaone.net)[8999]
Nice micro tips, but wouldn't this be better suited on a strat forum like Shock's? This isn't really a BR. Oh well, good tips anyway.

As an Observer to that game I have a couple things to say. #1 there were 5 zeals attacking your 6 not 8. Still coming out with 4 zeals is good. They used no unit control at all. However I agree with JSH that this outta be a post in Shocks forum

This isn't really a game...

Aye, it was more of a pat on the back for everyone else to see.
#7 soulsplitter' (spider-wc054.proxy.aol.com)[9026]
I was brown. And i saw like 10 blue zealots. Everyone else is crazy.

as whoop and I pointed out during the game, there are limits to microing. IN fact one can over-micromanage their troops during a game. For example, darkhawke was doing well with those first early zeals, but since he was paying too much attention to only a select group of units, he forgot to macro like a bastard and get his expansions up and running. Also I noticed that his probe count was low.

One must search for a balance of micro/macro or else they're going to be lost once the game gets moving and battles consist of larger numbers of units. By the time dark had amassed a decent force of around 8 dragoons to assault zard's choke, the two cannons and 12+ goons there simply decimated dark's attack. Meanwhile tho I expanded twice, and made 5 hatcheries at my main all pumping 1/0 cracklings. In stead of trying to do some fancy micro crap at zard's choke I simply scouted out zard's base with an olord and determined that there was a good part of his base vulnerable to a massive ling drop.

I brought in around 8 full of lings and 4 scourge which I used to take out shuttles that I had seen flying around. While the lings were landing I quickly shifted to heavy mute production.

Dark's problem was simply that he had no answer to the question I put for to him following his two failed attacks against zard's choke defense, "how are you gonna micro against that attack?" This was stated as 50+ lings and 20 mutes ripped apart any and all of zard's resistance.

This doesn't prove that dark is a bad microer/macroer. IT just shows that one should be thinking about the entire map and trying to determine wether or not they're over macroing or microing.

Quick example of over macroing: Making around 24 mutes and constantly sending them on attack move into a cannoned/saired defended area. Just plain retarded and no one ever does that :)

BTW ND ROX DIE MICHIGAN!

#12 RD-Zard (dhcp9536140.columbus.rr.com)[9070]
I think i never say this " Man my god! Godly micro! " on the game. you must quote the wrong person. it is 11th-warrior i think. anyway, you have a good micro control, but i wasnt pay any attention to my zealots when i was attacking you. coz i know lurker will come soon and i am busy in setting up my def.
GG anyway hawke
#13 T_Mac (ts7-63t-31.idirect.com)[9083]
Man, YRM, i love your little graphics, what happened to the lizard? ah well, cloning is how its spelt..........
#14 -=DarkHawke=- (stj216.nf.sympatico.ca)[9093]
I got a pic.
7 zealots and I have 6.

Umm, I was making probes non-stop.
I had them hotkeyed.

#15 Gruntwrapper (dialup-cle44.nls.net)[9111]
I never had heard of Cloning, but after some experimentation and asking around I think I might be able to describe it a little clearer.

ex: Lockdown 6 carriers with 6 ghosts all at once.

Your ghosts are hanging out somewhere deep in your camp, when 6 carriers begin their attack somewhere on the fringe. Select all 6 ghosts and order them to lockdown carrier #1. Here is where the distance between the ghosts and carriers is crucial. If the ghosts are standing too close, they will all fire lockdown at that carrier, which is not what we actually want. Instead, shift-remove a ghost from the 6 and order the remaining to fire at carrier #2. Again, shift-remove one and fire at #3. Repeat until its a group of 1 ghost ordered to lockdown #6.

The desired effect is that all 6 ghosts lockdown all 6 carriers at roughly the same moment. Will scare the beejeezuz outta most BGH players.
#16 Mr. Merf (dial-up208.twistedpair.net)[9379]
For the people who take these tips and will use them: I believe this got left out of the microing thing (unless it's somehow totally wrong=). If you shift-click and queue up an attack sequence for your ranged units, dancing on your opponents part should totally screw you because your units will follow the targeted one to the ends of the earth ignoring all else. Am I wrong?
