Necro suggests that they try to play a non-imbalanced game by picking their races randomly. Ghost agrees and they enter a third game, with Ghost wishing to redeem himself for his earlier losses.

Map: Dark Temple (LT with a twilight set)

Players
---------
Necrosausage!: Random Terran
Ghost~LiZarD: Random Protoss

Notice that in a cruel twist of fate, each player has ended up with the opposite of the race they had before. They voice their opinions on this:

Necro started at the 3 o'clock position, with Ghost drawing 9 o'clock. Since neither knows the other's race yet, they opt for more conserative builds. Ghost starts with the two gateway-two pylon opening, while Necro starts with depot-rax-depot. Their peons meet each other (again no one knows what was said) and the two players rapidly change their gameplans to adapt.

Necro gets gas and then begins two factories. Ghost gets gas and then begins teching to dark templars. Necro is continually making marines out of his one barracks, while Ghost has made 3 zealots. They each defend their ramps.

After creating an engineering bay, then a turret at his choke, Necro eschews factory units so that he can tech even further. Meanwhile Ghost is making two dark templars. Necro's tech to science facility is being defended by a mere 8 marines and turret. In an even gutsier move, Necro sends an SCV to his natural to begin a new CC.

Ghost's two dark templars are complete, and his total forces are 3 zealots, a dragoon, and 2 DT's. He guesses that now would be a good time to attack. As soon as the Protoss units leave their ramp, they run into a marine which is promptly gutted. Necro quickly moves his marines down the ramp and begins constructing another turret next to them.

Unfortunately, as the turret is 60% complete, the SCV creating it is sliced in half. The marines quickly run back up to the existing missile turret and begin firing on the Protoss invaders. Unfortunately, they only kill a couple of zealots before dying.

Two tanks attempt to reinforce, and kill everything but the two DT's, Bert and Ernie, who now have free reign on the helpless SCV's.

Necro, realizing he cannot defeat the DT's as well as more Protoss reinforcements on the way, concedes the game to Ghost.

Lessons Learned:

Protoss have a much easier time defeating Terran the other way around.

If you're going to do a two factory opening, you need to make vultures.

Templar tech causes numerous problems for Terran.

Ghost doesn't like maps he doesn't know. :)

Necro doesn't need his sexy carriers to win.

Now you can rate and comment. Thanks!
