Lifetime Rating for GhOsT~lizard: 5.4493 |  | Ok boys and girls uncle ghost will tell ya a story about a scary 1500 toss that he played on LT. I was hanging in that ladder channel and looking for the highest rated guy there to get a 1on1 going, there was one 1600+ person but he didn't know english at all and typed a buncha ascii characters, then I finally found a 1500 korean that spoke a little english and he agreed to play me in a melee 1on1.

BATTLE COMMENCES:
Well since he randomed I decided to go with a conservative 2 rax opening. At the start of the game he told me "I hate terran", I responded "I love em, they're my best race" then we chatted about where we live at and stuff. Well, back to the action, deion found him on the 2nd try and he's toss, OUCH! A 1500 toss vs a 1140+ terran, but his rating wasn't intimidating me so I went ahead and played my little heart out.
ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN AND EASTERN FRONT:
Well after I scouted him, I ran deion back, he scouted every other starting spot but where I was at and decing not to waste probes or zealots was satisfied with knowing where I am. Meanwhile at my base rines are impressing the meds and trying to get them to go to the bunker with them....but failed. Basically I just made a bunch of marines and then rushed to SVs with a crapload of M&Ms and 3 tanx for defense.
VULTURES ARE COOL:
Once my factory was complete I made a vulture and let it scout the other starting spots watching for expansions. I frequently comsatted him just to know what he was up to. He seemed to be a macro whore and had 4 gates going pretty early pumping mucho goon and temp.
THE FIRST MOVE:
Well I'm keeping close tabs on our friend from Aiur and see that he's taking his gimme, I quickly load up 2 tanx and cliff siege him. It was semi successful, I killed a few probes, 1 temp and about 8 goons that were performing some ritual dance below my tanx. At about the same time that his expansion got underway I took my gimme by floating a CC there, bunker/turret D and some tanx on ledges.
PUSHING IT....SORTA:
Now I had a decent force of about 5 dozen M&Ms, 6 tanx and 2 SVs and so I start the push. It wasn't wildly successful since storm pretty much raped all my M&Ms and I didn't have enuff energy to dmatrix them all....what a shame.
TAKIN' IT SLOW:
Well we both lost a good amount of forces in the previous battle so I take it slow and grab myself the 12 spot. I transfer a few SCVs from my main there and build a rax and a fact for some added production.
HIM>MY EXP=[:
Just as my newly built expansion is about to get rolling he hits it with a ton of goons, i try to send some reinforcements but they get slaughtered. Man, terran mobility sux. But then came the break, his temps were way behind all the forces so 3 stimmed rines did quiet a number on his 4 temps....they killed them.
WHILE HE WAS RAPING....MY EXP:
Well while he was raping my exp he also pulled a 1 DT drop on my gimme, i think he killed 1 SCV and then the bastard got cooked. Since most of his forces were finishing off my burning refinery I decide to lay the smack down on his warping exp at the 2nd natural. I bring over all my M&Ms and tanx, I kill A TON of goons by dmatrixing my tanx. I push all the way to his gimme and start killing it, he says "I lose" and quits. Yup, a lowly 1100 terran defeats the 1500 protoss juggernaut. Now the humanity is safe from the evil aliens and we all can live in peace.
LESSONS LEARNED:
-Don't fear those that are ranked.
-Kill temps at ALL costs.
-PSI Storm is evil and gay.
-Dmatrixed tanx do quiet a number on goons...really!
-Terran ownz ur bonez!
