Lifetime Rating for HolyAnarchy{GK}: 5.8333 |  | Seeing Johnny's recent suscess with vulture containment then following it up, i decided to try Johnny's strategy. Oh, and Johnny, get off those damn gateways so we can play. =).
Map: Ashrigo
Me: Terran, Upper left
Crazed_Cig: Upper Right
I started off with a barracks on 9, then depot on 10. I made 4 marines and bunkered them up, and then got 14 scv's on muns, 4 on gas. I made a factory and sent a scv to scout. I then began another factory and researched spider mines and speed upgrades. I made 8 (Eight!) vultures and mined his choke point, dumping all the mines there, then ran a single vulture through his choke. M&M, no comstat. Hehehe.
The Containment Effect.
I see him going more and more M&M, mixing a few bats. He had just begun a factory, and brought his force through the choke on just move. Ka-Bam! 12 Marines, 4-6 bats, 6-8 meds dead by 16 mines. I start pumping tanks and throw up 2 starports, expanding to the bottom left corner. The end is near, Crazed_Cig.
My new combo, TW.
I get 6 tanks, six, yup, and get siege mode. By now, im thinking he is a newbie, because he still hasnt made a comstat! So, i research cloaking and chuckle, and run in his base with 6 tanks, and 10 wraiths. Zap, zap, the lasers mounted on my wraiths belly's ripped through his various bunkers and tanks. He hollers something about revenge, then i give him vision. I shared my strat to learn he was going M&M containment (dont ask me) then mass bc's. Umm, ok. We trade GG's, then he exits.
Crazed_Cig: What the #%$^!!! What the %&@# was that %^#&!?
