The main reason for this submission was because I wanted to say one cool thing. However, posting crap like that is lame and wastes everyone's time. So I decided to report on the whole game. Also, I'm skimping on the HTML this time because it's time consuming. Here goes:

After getting owned in a game because of my own stupidity, I make another one, titled "I suck." A customer comes in rather quickly.

The Map:
The Lost Temple

The Game Type:
ladder

The Players:
Me, Sgt.Mac, chose Zerg (at the last sec 'cause the other guy chose 'toss) @ 9:00
Him, Snag_A_Hoe, picked Protoss @ 12:00

The Builds:
Don't ask me…I make 'em up as I go. (except for Ovie on 8)

The game begins and the first thing Snag says is "So what race are you?"
'Well, great. Either this will be no competition or he's just trying to be cute.'
I just say, "You'll see soon."
'What a retard.'

So anyway, I start building up as I try to chose a certain tech path to use. Scouting Snag's base decides that question for me though. My trusty little Zergling does well for his kind. Most Zergling scouts usually have a very short life expectancy. He sees 2 Gateways, 2 Pylons, no Assimilator, and a bunch of Zealots. Unfortunately some bully Zealots gang up on him in the corner of Snag's natural, which is empty by the way. I have a feeling Snag's doing Grrrr…'s early expand.

Now it is Snag's turn to scout; so, he walks a Zealot straight up my ramp. His Zealot really likes to party though I guess, because a circle of Zerglings forms around it and it starts spinning around like it's break-dancing. Oops where did he go? I dunno…maybe the Zerglings found out he only came to mooch the MALT LIQUOR and other assorted booze. he he he

Enough of that. I make a 2nd Hatchery and morph my 1st one into a Lair. I then begin on a Spire ASAP. 'Stupid thing takes ages to finish! Grr.' Back at Snag's choke, my 2nd Zergling suddenly gets ripped to pieces as it warns me of a large Zealot army marching toward my main. 'Ohhh crap. I'm dead.' I do what I can to make a defense, since my Spire is still poking along. I add 3 more Sunkens to my 2. Because of my building placement they are all spread out, but they cover each other and are hard to get to. I start pumping Zerglings, if you can call 10 "pumping"…hehe. I leave the ones at my ramp and rally the new ones in front of the Sunkens.

Then the purple, psi-blade wielding aliens come line dancing up my ramp. I guess they're just the partying kind. At this time I am finally able to build Mutas, but only one because I spent all my minerals on Sunkens and Zerglings. The Zergling bouncers at my door must have been on steroids because they last surprisingly long against the Snag's Zealots. They killed about 4 Zealots. Snag then regroups and charges into my base with no less than 16 Zealots. 'Awwwwwwwww CRAP. I'm gonna lose…..again!' I shift-target with my 10 Zerglings and 3 brand new Mutas. I do fairly well against Snag, who simply patrolled in, killing 8 or so Zealots with the combo of troops and 3 Sunkens that are in range. But he still has a lot of Zealots in my base and my Mutas are barely even tickling them; not to mention, my Sunkens are taking quite a beating. I will certainly lose if I don't get about 20 Zerglings out ASAP. Then, dum DUM dum…here comes the most exciting part-the reason for this battle report…

All of the sudden…5 Zealots simultaneously erupt into blue flares of energy without warning! "Whoa!!!" I type out. Snag doesn't reply. All 5 of my Sunkens must have each hit a separate Zealot at the same time. It was so cool. I tried to take a screenshot, but for that split-second I was struck dumbfounded and couldn't move. My base was safe. 'I'm saved! Hallelujah!'

'I'm back baby!' With my new flock of 8 Mutas, I storm into Snag's base, in a B-line for his peons. With a few profane utterances, Snag says "gg." "gg," I respond. 'So leave already!' Snag then proceeds to describe to me how he's lost 7 times in a row by @$$holes like me and he's really pissed off. By the time I finish off his main, I have about 3 control groups of Mutas flying around and an expansion online at my natural.

This is when Snag starts threatening me with disconnecting. You can see the screenshots of his little spasm below. I told him I was taking shots for when I report him to Blizzard. He acts the newbie and expands to 6:00 to only prolong his death. Right before the end he says, "j/k." Well he still pissed me off. I suppose I shall end this report appropriately with my favorite BR interjection: 'Bastard!'

Lessons Learned
1. Sunkens that are spread out and cover each other are sometimes more effective than a line of them.
2. Scouting makes a difference. I was prepared for his Zealots, and he wasn't prepared for my Mutas.
3. Mutas own a protoss without Archons or Corsair.
4. Disconnectors belong on medication.
5. BR-ing is funner than Calculus. I think I actually learn more stuff.

Battle Shots!

Oh I understand...that you're a loser of course.

heh this is just ironic = )

'Bastard.'
