Lifetime Rating for HolyAnarchy{GK}: 5.8333 |  | I, as usual, was hanging out in Nohunters, asking someone, anyone for a 1vs1. =Cyrix= accepted and made it.
Me: Zerg, Top Middle
=Cyrix=: Protoss, Upper Right
Early Game
I started with my usual power economy strat, 9 drones, then a pool, replace the drone, followed by an ol. I made drones up till 14, then made another hatchery near my choke. Then i made 4 drones and made creep colonies near my choke, and made sunkens. Then i made an extractor and a few lings. By now, i had found him as toss at the upper right position, and wondered how to crack him. I made 5 drones and put them on gas, then sent a drone to my natural to expand. I made a den, then lair. I was morphing 5 hydras when in flew 2 sairs and started harrasing my overlords. The hydras popped out and i killed his sairs without losses.
Mid Game
I started to pump mad hydras, taking a break only to make drones and extractor at my exp. He still kept running in with sairs and killed a few ol's, 3 or 4. I researched ventral sacks, and was working on speed when i evolved 4 lurkers and sent them near his choke. I started getting cannon fire from a solitary cannon, surrounded by zbout 8 zealots and a goon. I burrowed, and in ran his troops. I picked of all the zealots, and killed the cannon. I started up but was shot back down by a cannon, so i burrowed below his choke. By now i had about 24 hydras and transport with speed, so i loaded up my ol's and went in, dropping at his nexus. I took out his nexus, gateway, and robo fac before he stormed me twice and rushed in with goons and zealots. I worked them over before my remaning troops died to storm.
Late Game
I threw up a spire here. Some may say, IDIOT!, but I wanted gaurdians and devs, and i wanted them now. So, i got a nest, while still pumping hydras, and made 6 mutas. I started to evelove a hive when he stormed my lurkers below his choke. He wantshis natural. Fine. My hive finishes, and i start making mutas untill i have 14. I morph 7 to gaurdians, 7 to devourers, and had an odd 8 or 9 left. At this point he tells me he has to go, his dad is home, then says, wait, attack first, In i come and destroy half his buildings when he disconnects. Oh well, no hard feelings, sometimes u just gotta go. =)~.
o Air is not useless when he has sairs.
o Attack! He never put an offensive on me once, until the very end when he started on my natural.
