Lifetime Rating for ZMASTER: 3.0000 |    | OK, it's already 10pm when I booted up SC:BW. I decided to go online and play a ladder match. My opponent's name is ActiX and he chose Random. I chose Protoss(Red). Our map is SHOWDOWN. I was at the top of this long map. and I thought it was lucky.
Once the game started I sent my fifth Probe to scout. My intention is not to see his position but is to check out his race. See, I had a lot of experience at Showdown and I know that if I was at the top, he would be at the bottom.
I was a little worried when I saw that he is Zerg. I thought he was terran because of his name that made his idol Acturus Mengx. Two Zerglings slaughtered my Probe. At the same time, his un-upgraded scouting Lord was flying over my base. I got an army of 8 Zealots ready for the Z-Rush after I killed its Overlord.
My Zealots were stopped by some of his Zerglings. Unfortunately, they outnumber me and killed my army and only two Zerg survivors went home. I expanded very near his base and got Observers, Shuttles and Reavers ready.
A minute later, he sent all his troops(8 Hydras, 5 Lurkers and around 15 Zerglings) to assault my main base. I did not care and I filled all my units into a Shuttle and flew them to my expansion.
I got 3/4 of my army and attacked his base just over a hill from my expansion. I slaugthered all his buildings and Drones with the devastating Reaver Drop. However, he's not dead yet so I sent my Observers to scout.
You can just imagine the look on his face when he reached my main base and found nobody home! He knew I had expanded and began to search. Still, my main base turned into a bloody hell.
I found a small expansion on the island at the lower-left corner of the map. It had no Spore Colonies and lords there so my Observer stayed. The island-expansion only had a Hatchery, a Spawning pool, a Sunken colony and a Nydus Canal. It was easy work.
This is a great game, I think. Of sheer domination, full of surprises, and both players had no military air units!
