It started as a normal day in nohunters, when I felt like doing a BR. aMK and Atealtha both showed up. Atealtha took Blue Zerg 6, while aMK took 9 with toss. This would soon turn into a heated battle. aMK soon threw up a Pylon and Gateway near his choke. Altea, on the other hand, took a different approach. He guickly took his natural expand. Now, back at aMK's base, he has warped in a SECOND gateway and is preping some Zealots for battle. With Altea's natural under construction, a Pool is guickly hatched. About the time the second gateway finished, aMK had launched his first Zealot against Athea, who is almost defenseless. Some would say luck, some would say not. Just as the Z-Lot arrived, it began thrashing on the natural, which had finished seconds before...Athea quickly throws up a hatch near his choke and spawns some of his Zerglings to dispose of the Zealot threat. At this time, three things happened. First, aMK launched two more Zealots, Athea spawned 4 lings, and Athea had gotten up an extrator. Hydras? As the next two Zealots arrived, Athea sent about 8 lings and started on a sunken at his natural. Using intense macro, aMK slaughtered the lings with 3 Z-Lots, and 0 casualties. The sunken colony was almost done, and it seemed Athea's salvation, when Psi Blades rang and drought it down to 100 hp. Athea canceled it to save his resources. As more lings spawned, they were attacked. After killing 3, the fourth ling decided to dance to take their attention. They paid no attention to him, and with anohter ring of Psi, the ling had its blood staiting the canyon's walls. As the Zealots went to thrash the now defenseless natural (yep. Its still alive!), Athea spawned 8 lings. This time, aMK pulled back. Meanwhile, back at aMK home, he has a Cybercore,Stargate, and Citadel going. He hasn't expanded yet. He sends another 2 Lots to help his forces...However, back at Athea's natural, he has gathered at least 20 lings to keep his enemy at bay. In Athea's base, he has a Pool, 2 hatches, his extractor, and he has his natural now under his control...aMK sends all 5 lots and a new Probe to attack...Except they stop and a Pylon is thrown up. Back at AMK's base, a forge is under commense. Back at Blue's base, our hunch was correct, a Hydra Den is being constructed. Back at AMK's home, the StarGate and Citadel have just warped in. As the Pylon near Athea finishes, he notices and attacks it. The pylon finsihed, the 5 braves lots and the probe must call a retreat and abonden their energy crystal...It seems both sides are even...What will happen next? Will the Protoss or Zerg forces rule this land? Stay tuned, for the next installment of "The 129843978th Battle for the Freaking Temple!"
