Lifetime Rating for Mind Twist: 4.1333 |  | I got on the X-Force once again and after a while we started a huge 5-way (I think, never even saw all the players) FFA on a big map.. a good one too, twilight (I think), name escapes me, sorry :( Oh yah.. Close Encounters, I remembered! I suggest you guys try it out simetime, it's a good one.

I didn't give the names because I didn't ask for permission. Oh well, I only interacted with 1 player :(
Ok, I start, get 2 rax and supply depots, gas and start thinking about what to do. Well, lower left corner toss decides for me by going hard zealot. I counter with firebats, and we skirmish a couple times. I attack, someone else happened to attack at the same time, he attacks. Finally he overrides my token defense (I once stopped him with a newly made tank).. Luckily my scouting tells me that top right is all empty.. I expand.. My main is gone from his now huge goon/zel force.
He is complaining for some reason that everyone is attacking him at once.. does this through the rest of the game. I make a factory at my expansion before my raxes go down, so I have 3 tanx for defense. I put up another CC on a mineral only patch a few squares away. Left Corner toss is annoyed, and his scouting also told him where I was. He dropped a goon and zel in my peon line, but sieged tanx stop it, and I rebuild.
A while back there Red (zergie, top left) disced.. I encountered his lings once as we both headed towards left corner toss at the same time.. hehe maybe he had a reason to complain.
Soon lower left corner toss sends his goon force up to top right and wipes out my expansion.. In vein I send SCVs off, 3 get killed, but I manage ANOTHER CC. He destroys it, while I'm starting another CC! I sent a group of SCVs to my old main base spot and find an undefended expansion of his. I attack some probes, and he complains that he is getting double/tripple-teamed.
Finally I'm left to a supply depot, which is gone, and a slowly burning starport (I had plans to drop tanx in someone's peon line.. *sigh*) which crumbles away. Lalala, credit another loss to horrible skill AND bad placement :(
I was planning on going hard firebat/tank to fend off left corner toss, and had 2 factories and 3 rax (one building) when he just overran my main.. Oh well he was P!$$ed when I wiped out alot of his probes at his expansion.. haha, even if I lost horribly, I had the knowledge that I still caused him (a great player) some problems :)
Well, that game is still probably going on right now.. lala, I'm done with BW for a while.. have to finish off the last week of school anyways.. give me some time to cool down.. I will be back to BW soon enuff, dying more and more..
Lessons learned:
-Never give up.. I know usually u say that when you came back from the dead and win, but it's STILL TRUE! If anything, If not for his many goons and lack of places to expand I might've been able to come back
-Don't get caught with your pants down when someone comes a knockin. I KNEW he didn't expect any SCVs to come into his exp and he had NO defenses.. HAHAHA!
-If you suck.. get used to sucking and live with it. I will always suck and I will always die when I play BW, and it's hard to have fun, but I will eventually get used to sucking so badly. |
