TF-MasochisT vs. [o]Ronin

"asked" me to put up this game tonight instead of a week from now when I'll be getting from Orlando... I wasn't originally planning on putting it up, so this is going to be a little bit rushed... I was wandering around the usual channels like Nohunters and clan -x17 looking for someone that would want to play a 1v1 or whatever kind of game for a battle report so I wouldn't be completely depressed having to leave my computer for a week hehe. I saw TF-MasochisT(Geno-The-Feared) in clan -x17 just kind of sitting there so I figured I'd ask him to play someone. I had no clue who I was going to get him to play so we both looked for someone. Without much time passing we found [o]Ronin in NoHunters who agreed to play. So, I know you're just DYING to get to SOME action anyway, so here comes the battle.
MasochisT (Chooses Zerg, 6)
[o]Ronin (Randoms Terran, 12)
MasochisT, not knowing his oponent's race, doesn't have a whole lot of an idea what to go for. He chooses to make his first building a hatchery at his natural expansion. He followed that with a spawning pool, extractor, another hatchery next to his expansion's hatchery, lair, and then a spire.
Ronin knows what race his opponent is and, as far as I know, knew what he was going for. He chooses a build order that would seem to suggest an early drop and builds: depot, barracks, refinery, depot, factory, and then a starport.
The first attack of the game came from, you guessed it, Ronin's drop on the ledge of MasochisT's natural expansion.
MasochisT, already having plenty of mutalisks to handle the attack, sends them up to the ledge where a tank, bunker, and a soon-to-be missle turret brace themselves for the attack. Ronin tries to micro his way to victory of the attack but fails and the first attack of the game is shut down.
Both players continuously build up their forces. MasochisT takes the time to expand to his mineral only, building two hatcheries next to the mineral field.
Ronin builds up an army of tanks, marines, medics, and a few wraiths. (Note: He does not expand, leaving him 3:1 mineral wise to MasochisT).
Ronin stays in the security of his base, building up his army.
The advantage in the game is growing more and more as the time goes on in favor of MasochisT. He now has 3 mineral patches in comparison to Ronin's one. Ronin realizes this as he sees a scouting scv get torn up by hydralisks, mutalisks, and sunken colonies at MasochisT's third expansion.
Ronin is producing his army out of 3 barracks and 1 factory, while MasochisT is producing his growing Zerg army out of his three hatcheries.
Ronin, realizing that since the game is shifting out of his favor more and more as time goes on, decides to take another offensive. He sends a large group of marines and medics, followed by siege tanks and valkaries. The battle that took place just in front of MasochisT's third expansion was very exciting to watch, and it made me wish I could make those little clips *sigh*, but anyway... I can give you a picture of what it looked like...
The battle was actually very close and in favor of Ronin at first (until MasochisT realized he was under attack and moved more of his troops out to assist hehe). Once the valkary is destroyed, the fight is nearly over. Ronin, seeing this before the vision of that area went away, gives in.
If I had to guess how long that game took just by reading about it I woulda said easily in the twenties, but it only lasted 13 minutes. Again, I wouldn't have posted such a short report...but MasochisT "wanted" me to... It was a very well played game by both players. GG and I hope to have you guys rematch for another battle report sometime.
