Lifetime Rating for Wedge88: 5.5000 |   | Hello, this is my first Battlereport! Its preety sad, but the game was even sadder! It was 2v1! danewbman and Battle~Plate vs. Mark4! Lets get this over with, shall we?
The map was Temple! Yeah a new map. :) Battle~Plate (we call him BP for short) was zerg(yellow) at the bottom starting point, danewbman(we will call him da for short) was terran(orange) at the right starting point, and Mark4 was toss(teal) at the left starting point.
I lifted my CC and sent it to the top right corner and killed my scvs (FUN!). The players sent their peons to their mineral patchs and allyed and turned on ally chat! (Well da and BP did)
BP sends his overlord to the left base, which happens to be Mark's. It will stay there for awhile. Mark double gates with 3 pylons. BP gets an early expansion, an extractor at his main, and a spawning pool. Da has a rax and 2 supply depots blocking off his ramp. When he gets the money, he soon makes a refinery, academy, and 2 factorys.
Mark sends a probe to have a look at BP's base, he sees the early expansion with little defense and sends 2 zealots. They start poinding the hatchery, when lings come in the kill off the threat. BP then makes a sucken and da sends 4 marines for help with defense. BP soon starts a lair.
Mark now has a citadel of adun, cy core, an assimilator, and another gateway. da has a starport with control tower, and his factorys have machine shops. He also has an ebay.
Mark has 9 goons now and a few zealots at his ramp. Da has some vultures and marines at his ramp. Mark then sends out a DT to sit in front of da's base. BP now has a hive, hydra den, and a queen's nest. Da has moved his rax back from his entrance so his troops can get in and out.
Mark is on the offensive by sending his goons and zealots to attack BP's choke. It soon falls, as does his main in a few seconds. All BP has is a few hydras for defense. BP says gg right after he is killed and he is forced to leave the game because for some strange reason, you can't play without buildings in a melee game!
Mark has a better chance at winning now. Da wants revenge for his partner's death and drops a scv, some marines and vultures on the ridge above Mark's choke.(Did I mention that he had expanded down there? Well he has.) The scv then makes a bunker then a turret. Soon a tank joins the fun and rains its famous artilery on Mark's probes and Nexus. But Mark hasn't been idle, he has a group of goons out side da's choke, ready for action. There are a number of mines placed by da's many vultures in his choke to discuradge any attack.
Mark has expanded to top main. He makes cannons, an assimilator, and 2 gates at his new base.
Mark now lands some zealots and DT on the ridge above his base to deal with the problem there. Mark's troops die but not without killing da's tank. Mark then sends 3 goons, a zealot and templar to finish the outpost off. It is soon destroyed with losses.
Da expanded to his choke at sometime when i was looking somewhere else. He drops some m&ms and a tank at Mark's top base, they are killed by cannons and Mark's goon army.
Da makes a science fac. and lays some more mines with some new vultures. Mark sends a few zealots through the mine field, clearing all but 3 mines. The vultures run after the zealots and into the large goon army out side his choke, the hovering bikes are blown apart by the goons.
Da's choke is now only protected by 3 mines and 3 tanks on the cliff of his main base. Mark sends over observers to take out the mines.
Mark has 3 expansions(choke, top main, bottom main) to da's 1 (choke). Mark has a large army consiting of a few zealots, templars, and LOTS of goons!! Da has a few wraiths, a sv, tanks, and some marines.
The end is near!!
Mark lands a shuttle full of zealots on da's southwest ledge, they are killed. But Mark then sends the rest of his army up to the choke, then up the ramp!
Mark easily blows away da's main, with newly morphed archons cleaning up. GGs are passed around. And it ends, Mark wins in a 2v1! GJ Mark4!
He didn't think he would win--- "Mark4 losses again" -Mark4
at the begining of the game! Well i enjoyed watching this epic fight and you were probably bored out of your wits reading this, ohh well, I don't care! :)
