Lifetime Rating for colonel~templar: 3.0000 |  | | Once again two people had the pleasure of my presence in their game :) Decman~Z3 vs ShadowedOne[DK],the chosen map was Hunters.Dec goes random and draws zerg,Shadow goes zerg.Dec takes bottom middle,and Shadow gets middle left.Shadow pulls off the cancel extractor after making a drone trick to put his supply at 10/9.Shadow then starts a pool.Meanwhile down South,Dec starts 2 hatches at his natural exp and gets a healthy ammount of drones.Shadow hatches out 4 lings,and Dec is now starting his pool on 16.Dec's hatches at his natural are now done,and his pool is up.Shadow starts a hatch at the middle right to expand.Dec strategically places a sunken colony behind the 2 hatches at his natural and hatches out 4 lings of his own,at this point Shadow has about12 lings.Shadow starts another hatch at his main.When this hatch gets up,he starts a hydra den,yet he did not make one hydra the entire game,and then starts a lair out of both of his hatcheries.Dec now starts a 4th hatch and a hydra den.Dec then starts 3 more hatcheries,this will make a total of 7.Dec has also been pumping lings and hydras whenever he sees it be fit.Dec then starts a lair and snipes Shadow's overlord that has been over Dec's mineral line since the start almost,with his first hydra.Shadow then starts a spire and a queen's nest at his exp at middle right.When the spire gets up,he hatches out 8 scourages.Now is a good time to take a look at the two combatants armies.Shadow has 8 scourages and 16 lings.Dec has 9 hydras,about 8 lings,and 12 lurker eggs...make that 12 lurkers.Shadow starts a hatch at the top right expansion at the time,and has 2 sunkens at his middle right exp.And not to mention he has problems at his main base now.Problem can be defiend as Dec's army.Remember those scourage's I spoke of earlier? Well they pawned themselves off and took out a few of Dec's overlords(but hey,if the man can afford 7 hatcheries and 12 lurkers losing 400 minerals isnt going to be a big setback).Dec reinforces his attack with +12 hydras and a few lings.They stop above Shadows exp at middle right.and 8 of the +12 hydras become lurkers =O.That expansion is then mugged,and to make a short story even shorter Dec send a line of lings that go from his base at bottom middle to the mineral only exp at top middle.Seeing as how all Shadow has is a ling and 3 drones...gg.The winner=Decman~Z3.Battle report written by colonel~templar™ |
