HOT DOGS AND CHEESE
The Dilemma

A rare occasion for me, the great C_Time to battle along side GameOverZ against the evil plots of the Cheesemen.
Our combined skill can prove more than enough to defeat the most gosu duo but is it enough to stop the minions of the ULTAMITE CHEESE?? Only time will tell . . .
From the Cheesemen, the henchmen Tryingout and …(Variable take the battle to the notorious island map of Dire Straits.
C_Time (That’s me) awakens as a Zerg cerebrate at the top left, GameOverZ lands his Command Center at top right.
GoZ builds towards an early CC to float to the expansion right between his island and mine. C_Time plans to go extractor, 2nd hatch, pool and lair. C_Time's Overlord slowly floats towards the bottom left, it meets another Overlord. Tryingout is Zerg and is a step ahead in Muta teching.
"Damn, he is gonna get mutas before me"-C_Time
"Get spores, quickly!"-GoZ
C_Time didn’t have an lair yet, waiting for a spawning pool (which is not good) and Tryingout had his lair almost finished.
C_Time quickly made an Evolution Chamber and four colonies in a square formation around his buildings. As soon as the evolution chamber finished, the colonies evolved to spores. At this time, C_Time's OV caught a glimpse of a stargate at the bottom right main.
Meanwhile me and GameOverZ were deep in discussion, bringing years of game experience into the gear
"I . . .think toss is going reaver and sair" -GoZ
"Hmm, Sairs>mutas"-C_Time
You could actually hear the brain waves crackle as our minds worked overtime.
C_Time's pool finished and his lair was up, enemy mutas came hoping to harass C_Time's peon line but alas they slammed against a wicked spore wall defense.
A Matter of Air Superiority

Tryingout's mutas circled back to the center and saw GameOverZ's expansion. Tryingout's mutas reeled at the opportunity to kill some scvs, but alas came against a large turret wall. C_Time's mutas finished as he gathered a control group of them. ...(Variable dropped a couple of reavers at the expansion. A couple of turrets went down before C_Time's mutas came into the battle, ...(Variable's corsairs came to meet C_Time's fleet and the corsairs were outnumbered severely. ...(Variable's forces retreat, but the mutas manage to kill the reavers!

Good guys:1

Cheesemen:0

Although the initial attack was a failure, GoZ must had been wondering bout other stuff cuz his cc was floating away from the exp. The lack of turrets encouraged another attack, but C_Time kept pumping mutas and the attack by Tryingout's mutas was repelled.
A brief pause later, enemy sairs, reavers, and mutas gather at the east end of GoZ's main. They fringe there while GoZ is desperately pumping upgraded goliaths out of his factories. Things dont look good, although goliaths own mutas, GoZ only has a few and is sending them out to fight in pairs. C_Time's mutas rush in to the rescue!!! C_Time's mutas engage the enemy mutas first and when the sairs join the battle, C_Time retreats. A couple of enemy mutas are killed this way until the Cheesemen get Smart! C_Time furiously splits his mutas into three groups, retreating the red-blueish mutas to the back. C_Time's force is enforced by four newly made goliaths and the threat is extinguished.

Good guys:2

The Tide Turns

Well, thing settle down, GoZ agrees this is the best time to get an expansion. From the result of that last battle, it seems the skies belong to Team OverZ for the moment. GoZ has control over his top middle exp while C_Time scouts a little . . . and find that toss has expanded three times, most of the exps in the middle. Slight oversight due to bad scouting

Good guys:2

Cheesemen:3 (expansions)

C_Time tries to get an exp fast, determined not to be outresourced but finds the island exp below his main has an enemy hatchery spawning already. Things get ugly, all of the sudden everybody battles over that expansion. Here are a few reasons why its so important:

1) There are only 2 exps left, that one and the one below GoZ's main. The one below GoZ's main is surrounded by toss exps and troops.

2)Its the only exp Tryingout has at the moment.

3)If Tryingout is successful, then team cheese will have 4 exps to the good guy's measly 1 exp.

4)If you haven't noticed yet, I dont have an expansion!!!

5)If you haven't noticed yet, I dont have an expansion!!!

6)If you haven't noticed yet, I dont have an expansion!!!

GoZ drops a dropship full of goliaths but are quickly destroyed by defending hydras. C_Time has been pumping zerglings for quite a while now, he loads five Ovs full of lings and drops on Tryingout's exp. GoZ helps with more Goliaths and the exp is conquered.

A scan reveals carriers gathering in the middle of the map. The Cheesemen have evolved, sorta like Super-Sayin style, now they are Cheesedogs. A greater spire is quickly made (damn greater spires take too long to morph. 12 Devourers guard the vital exp of C_Time. Eventually the Hot Dogs cometh and they get SMACKED DOWN. Even the sairs pop out of the sky. ...(Variable retreats after loosing 1 carrier and a couple of sairs while the good guys loose nothing.
The End of Tryingout???

C_Time has a tough time getting some more eco into his exp, nevertheless, he has plenty of saved minerals and pumps zerglings. With 6 Ovs of zerglings and 12 goliaths, C_Time and GoZ drop on Tryingout's main. ...(Variable is completely unable to help since 14 ranged goliaths + 12 devourers own almost anything air. Tryingout's main goes down with 4 goliaths surviving along with 10 devourers.
The Indominable Cheese

It seems we have all but won, but nooooo, ...(Variable goes defensive with cannons, carriers, arbiters (with stasis galore) and STORM!!! C_Time can barely kill a few cannons without loosing troops to Storm. C_Time and GoZ know they must claim more expansions or else they would be overpowered. The only exp left is the one under GoZ's main. A dropship scouts the exp but is blown away by hydras. Tryingout is very mush alive and building from scratch.
The End Game: Air Superiority

To explain the title of this br; i swear by the end i have never seen more yellow in my life. Owwy, my brain hurts thinking bout it. How much yellow was there? More than a handful of pikachus, more than a screen full of dancing probes, of course ...(Variable was kind enough to build arbiters to hide the carriers. Anyways, my devourers were picked off one by one. While he was able to replace lost units, C_Time couldn't replace the expensive devo fast enough. C_Time's main and exp went down fast. GoZ put up a good fight with 4-5 control groups of goliaths gathered at his main but alas they were frozen into ice cubes by stasis. GG and its was a pretty long game despite a short report.
Recipe for Success

Lessons Learned

I really should take less time to make a br, this game happened a month ago.

Scout more often, obviously this entire game could have been won if either of us did that.

Corsairs are good against large number of mutas but you gotta know when you stand a chance and when you dont. 12 mutas is still greater than 5-6 sairs.

You might have noticed the lack of pics, the only one i have is that cool pic of the cheese ensemble. Well searching for pics for this br I came upon an absolutely fantastic recipe for:

Cheese Fondue

4 oz. Gruyere cheese

8 oz. Swiss cheese

1+ tbsp. cornstarch

1 clove garlic

3/4 to 1 cup white wine

1 tbsp. kirsch

French bread cut into 1" cubes

Grate cheese and mix with cornstarch. Cut garlic clove in half. Rub 1/2 of garlic over inside of fondue pot. Cut the other 1/2 clove up finely and add to pot. Add wine to pot and heat slowly until it justbubbles. Slowly add the cheese mixture, stirring as it melts. When smooth, add kirsch and serve with French bread. Serves 3-4.

This has been a C_Time production, sigh im too cheap for a flashy logo
